Many other requirements along with the medical & RPRF

I have recently received my medical along with RPRF. However I have also been asked to send new Applicaiton IMM0008, Schedule 1, Schedule 3, new PCC, proof of sufficient funds and employment certificate/pay slips.

I can't see on this forum if someone is asked for these documents with medical. In almost all cases only PRPF is asked with medical. Note that I updated my application in December 2008 and had sent across all these information. I am from old system (2006).

I shall be grateful for your comments/guidance.

Hi,

It appears that they have pulled out your file for final processing stage. That is why they need all the requirements. There is nothing to get confused. Start completing all the requirements as soon as possible and submit. Also go for medical.

I completely agree with Wilson here. Since they want to take final decision on your case, that is why they are checking the requirements. Gather all the documents and send them. Best of luck

Does it mean that both background check and security check will be initiated now, or they might have already done background check between December 2008 and now, and just wants to make sure if my position is not changed during that period. If this holds true, then they will do just Security check now. Just my assumption.

Appreciate if you could shed some light on it.

Thanks for your inputs which is very helpful in understanding my situation, specailly the thread links that visaexpert4indians has provided; I am really very grateful.

By the way I am dealing with London office and the DMP has already sent across my completed medicals last week. Also I have courierd the new Applicaiton IMM0008, Schedule 1 and Schedule 3 as these were asked to be mailed ASAP. I am in the process of collecting documents for remaining requirements.

It is quite natural that people get too much excited once they see any sign of good news from CIC after long, long and frustrated waiting.

I second him for this opinion. No one can guess or predict about background and security checks. It will be done according to the discretion of visa processing officials.

I was asked to send the said form IMM0008 alongside the supporting docs like POF and PCC that's in 2009. After 6 months of the said submissions,I was asked to submit PP,Meds and RPRF that's still in 2009.Since then, I have been waiting for 4 months for a decision.It's not easy to wait but then as an applicant, all I have to do is ...wait!.
