Some one replied to a previous thread of mine..which was VEEERY HELPFUL :D

that if my friend's parents moves to Manitoba or Saskatchewan and stayed there for a minimum of 1 year with meeting the requirements.. they could petition my friend and her sister even if they are Over aged already..

I dont want to question the person who replied..I just want confirmation on this?? anyone who experienced the same thing or know someone who did?

Thank you very much..

I had replied to you before. Manitoba and Saskatchewan both have provincial nominee programs where you can sponsor close family members if all of you meet certain requirements. Here are the requirements for the Manitoba program: http://www2.immigratemanitoba.com/browse/howtoimmigrate/pnp/pnp-family_support.html and for the Saskatchewan program: http://www.saskimmigrationcanada.ca/family-members

As you see, the requirements are slightly different. In both cases, they would need at least 1 academic year of post secondary education and for Saskatchewan at least 1 year work experience in their field of education and in Manitoba it is 2 years. They also need to have 10,000 each. It is a long term project but it is doable and so they should start working on qualifying if they want to join their parents in Canada.

I am also not certain if the parents can sponsor both of them at the same time. They may need to sponsor one first and then the other but that is a later time problem.
