For those of you, who have gone through this process. Can you help me guide little. I Live in USA and looking to get settled in Canada. My express entry score has been always less little less than 400, so i haven't received any provincial nomination yet. I dont have any job offers from Canada.
I know someone who lives in Manitoba and i am looking to ask for help regarding the MPNP overseas skilled worker through support of family and friends.what kind of help is the person who sponsors is expected to do? Does it involve him providing lot of documents or any oath for support? Are there interviews involved of the sponsor where he is expected to say that he would support. I guess are there are financial or other liability he could face or need to show for?The reason i am asking is i know the guy, but obviously he is not very close to me and so i want to understand whether it is worth asking?
I checked the criteria otherwise and it would seem i qualify based on there score criteria. I am about 36 years old with masters degree in mechanical and 8-9 years of work experience in USA with good IELTS score If the person agrees to sponsor, are there any roadblocks you guys can see i should be aware of. I am obviously not going to ask for sponsorship if it is too much work for sponsor.
Also does this stream remain open or just open and close intermittently? My Ielts is probably expired and might need to give again.
