hi guys my name is gurmeet i jus need sum info bot family stream .... i have my two cousins (my aunt's sons) .. but i want my wife to apply under family stream .. she is a govt. employee n she has 2 years experience as well ... so can she apply under family stream ??? help me plzzz guys .. i will be waiting ...thanks

Hi Everyone!!!

I'm kinda new here. I send my application last Dec, 2010. I received a letter from the MPNP office providing me with a temporary file number and asking for another supporting documents. I submitted it last Feb, 2011. Last Monday, June 6, 2011, my first cousin, which is also my sponsor, was interviewed by the MPNP officer. I just want to ask what will be the next step I could expect. Is it possible that they have already reviewed my documents prior calling my sponsor or will they just start reviewing my documents after calling my sponsor? Thank you guys, I hope you could help me regarding this matter.

Hopefully we could all migrate to Canada soon and be official Manitobans!

Hello guys.. Hope that our LOA will come soon, I was bit scared regarding my application coz it my second time now.... In my settlement of funds i have 10k++++++ but then i deposited last april and feb to cover up the required amount? I applied last april 2011. Do u guys thinks that this scenario will be affect my application? Bit worried regarding this matter.....

yes gurmeet u can apply under family stream to manitoba. but for this u have to fullfil all the requirements of mpnp

Hi guys,

I applied for MPNP under family stream on the 27 th of april and its been over 2 n half months and I still did not receive my AOR, so I was concerned and called MPNP in Canada to find out about the delay, so they told me they are still processing applications received in the 1st quarter which is quite depressing actually considering most of the people got their AOR in like the first month. Even my sister who is my sponsor, she got her AOR in the first month, I am really concerned about this now, now there is going to be such a delay in all the steps, all this while every Monday morning and all through the day, I just wait to see if the postman is there with the AOR for me . Hope all of us get our applications processed at the earliest.. Cheers

Finally, I got my AOR, although just requested for one additional document stating the relationship between my sister and me, got a temporary file number as well. So, I am assuming thats a good thing huh? Anyways. what is the next step guys? Cheers

The letter was dated 30th June, my application was sent on 28th April, so I guess it took approx 2 months for issuing AOR, but the letter arrived to me in India this morning, so I am assuming it takes about 2 to 3 weeks for the normal airmal from Manitoba to reach India. what is your current status Kamal? Are you applying under the Family Stream as well? Cheers

I see that your sponsor was interview on the 10th of June, quick question mate, is your sponsor sponsoring you financially as well or just signed the Manitoba Affidavit of Support showing that they are supporting you to settle in? Also, what did the case officer ask your sponsor, I mean what questions? Looking forward to hearing from you soon mate. Have a good one. Cheers

I have applied under the family stream and so did my sister when she went there, but she did not have an interview, neither did her sponsor! So, I am a bit confused as to that, does every sponsor have an interview or only the ones who have applied under general stream? Cheers

Allmost in all cases they took interview,you dont worry only keep patience your sponsor interview will be held around september..

hey...m planning to apply for MPNP this month under general stream...ive just 1sponseror...i thnk i will get the other soon...bt wat type of questions do they ask when they will interview my sponserors? Im bit scared...wat if they dont find our sponserors genuine?
and ive already applied for PR visas under Fedral Skill worker in july2007...so how can i convert my current application into MPNP application?
