Can anyone help with some possible recruitment agencies in Manitoba to be written to. The reality is that it is not the volume of the mails sent out that matters, but the right recipient being contacted. I am researching as well, but i will sincerely appreciate some listings.

I constructed my mail in such a manner you mentioned. I made them to realise that i am not seeking employment, but rather that i am an intending immigrant desirous of a visit and would like to visit their organisation when in Manitoba for an exploratory visit.

In any case, you have lifted my spirit because what i could infer from your mail is that the number of respondents is not really a major factor in determining your approval, but rather whom and those you meet when in manitoba is what matter the most.

I will keep hoping and once approved, the next hurdle will be TRV. Until the local authority in Canada start working closely with the foreign missions, TRV may continue to be a nightmare. Thanks.

Yeah, TRV can be a problem. Know two people who got approved for EV but could not make it because of refusal of TRV application.

It depends on your professional field. It is tough to find recruitment firms that handle general employment for all fields of endeavour, what you find are specialist recruitment.

Just google say ''information technology (IT) recruitment agencies or firms in manitoba and or winnipeg". It will give you a whole gamut of search results which you can now begin to filter to what you need.

Is it only MPNP that embarks on Exploratory Visit or we still have other provinces? Secondly, are there any other provinces that accept Immigration Applications without job offer? Your response will help me grately as I am relately new on this.

Just an update:

I have sent an EV request this morning (SG time); and I have been replied w/ a form to fill up.
As expected, I am required to have an IELTS score and with the 30-day timetable; I hope I would be able to take the test in a week or two. Hopefully, I would still be able to make it to the Feb 16 deadline. Or else, I'll have to go thru the process again of requesting an EV.

Hope I make it to the deadline...

Emperor, I noticed that the visa office u used is Accra. I used Accra also, Pls how long does it take CIC Sdyney to transfer someone application to Accra. I applied through MPNP, and got nominated in Dec, 2012, I applied to CIO sdyney and I received my AOR on Feb 14th, 2013, and it says ur file will be transfer to the Visa office u indicated in ur application, which is Accra. Secondly, what is the next step, do u have any idea.
