This is not the right way to get a response to your post. People pay consultants to package their immigration applications but in this thread we all help each other one way or the other base on information we have. Also note that some forum members take the pain to research this route of immigration and this involve sacrificing some precious time in order to source this information and concluding that for your post not to have been asnwered you are not welcome isn't good.

Anyway, from what I know about exploratory visit (EV) under the strategic stream you dont need the settlement plan documentation as you will find under the general or family stream of MPNP.

EMPEROR: Thanks you so much for your answer. I will continue researching about this topic ... GBU. Saludos from México.

Heheheheheeh. Am fine. We all learn from each other in order to improve the forum and ensure we dont make the mistakes others have made.

Lovely to know you have responded to the questionnaire and pray for divine blessing concerning our applications. :)

Hi Mayoress,

I want to ask if 10 days is the standard number of exploring manitoba? Or it could be more than 10 days?
Can my spouse also join me in exploratory visit in manitoba coz she is in health care field, then I am in Information Technology field.

Because I'm also keen in strategic initiative coz I have no friend/relative that can help me with settlement plan2.

By the way, I have my IELTS ready and I need to learn more on this option (strategic initiative)

Regards,

From the experience of seniors like Emperor, I learnt it's usually 10days.

Once an exploratory visit is accepted by MPNP, the applicant will receive a response like this.

"Thank you for your email. We accept your request to make an exploratory visit to Manitoba, lasting seven to ten days. We will schedule an interview with you near the end of your visit. Based on how well your exploratory visit goes, we will decide whether to issue you an Invitation to Apply to the MPNP within 30 days following your interview. Please let me know the dates you will be travelling to Manitoba, so we can set up the interview date and time".

During the interview, if the immigration officer feels that the applicant is organize, covers all areas of the exploratory visit and can express himself with confidence and without difficulty, then the officer will issue an invitation to apply right away just like what happened to me during my exploratory last year.

@Explore, thanks for the response.

It is a good thing that the EV is opened again for 2013.
My frustrations stemmed from the fact that i have written about 80 emails to several companies and only two has replied.
Can someone experienced help me out about how to get employers or where to get employers who can at least reply my emails to give my EV request a good standing.

I have sent in my EV request indicating that only two employers have replied and would not know how much this will count in approving or dropping my EV request.

I NEED HELP!!!!

Well said ExploreWinnipeg. That is the standard response you get after approval of your visit. Before leaving for the EV you need to inform the MPNP and your date of interview will be confirmed based on your itineraries that you are expected to have shared with the MPNP official.

I believe that is a good level of achievement. I did not get any employer response before departing for my EV trip but did inform the MPNP of potential employer and recruitment agencies I planned visiting to assess my employability.

The level of reponse you get is also a function of how your email is written. If you are seeking for employment I can bet you will get no response but if you explain to these prospective employers that you need to meet them to help you assess your employability for the purpose of MPNP nomination, some will be willing to respond to your email and give you a date for a chat.

As I said above dont just go after companies, check out recruitment firms as well in your field.

All the best to you guys.

Can somebody post some recruiting agencies?

Thanks Emperor.
I constructed my mail in such a manner you mentioned. I made them to realise that i am not seeking employment, but rather that i am an intending immigrant desirous of a visit and would like to visit their organisation when in Manitoba for an exploratory visit.

In any case, you have lifted my spirit because what i could infer from your mail is that the number of respondents is not really a major factor in determining your approval, but rather whom and those you meet when in manitoba is what matter the most.

I will keep hoping and once approved, the next hurdle will be TRV. Until the local authority in Canada start working closely with the foreign missions, TRV may continue to be a nightmare. Thanks.
