HELP HELP! I notice are medical will be expired on the end of july this 2011 because we took are medical last year of july .
And the letter just came this june to send are passport for visa we just send last month june 21 2011. the letter dated on may 18 and its too late to receive the letter

STILL NOW PENDING FOR THE VISA... i hope we can leave before the medical expires,the days is so important . so when do you think will be receive are visa/ with our passport? still wishing we have more time....kindly help if its okie that are medical expires too? idont thinkso , but the clarification of our medical last year was aug i think. i hope august...

Your medicals will expire ONE YEAR AFTER THE first day you took your first medical exam... NOT on the date the results are forwarded to the CIC.

You are running out of time so if I were you, i may consider doing the following:
1. Book your flight. There are agencies accepting free booking.
2. Make a copy of all things you need to bring and do before leaving.
3. Be ready for the worst case scenario (e.g. the VISA arrives a day before it expires... let's hope this will not happen)
4. E-mail them and state the expiration of your medicals and the date you submitted your passports.

Your case is very stressful. We pray for the best for you. Please let us know whatever will happen. Keep in touch and good luck. Remember that whatever happens, God is good all the time.

Would also like to share, I inquired with our "suki" travel agency here at the Fort Area (United Travel) about their rates for first time migrants. My contact there, Absie, told me that PAL has an ongoing promo 385USD per person (tax is 274USD) for a total of 659USD + 1620PHP Philippine Tax. The promo is open until end of July only for travels from September 16 to a date I forgot

Anyways, I've checked with Canadian Travel and Tours and their rate has increased now to 580USD + 187USD tax total of 767USD + 1620PHP travel tax for the September flights. This rate is for their Cathay flights (connecting via HK). Their PAL rates are 520USD + 261USD tax total of 781USD + 1620PHP travel tax.

We plan to book for September 17, 2011.

United Travel is located at ground floor of Net One Building here in the Fort.

thanks for your concern. I know its so stressfull enough. i remember are last medical was end of july 2010.
now
when the medical expired. our passport will be send back? even our visa didnt came because our medical expires.
because its so hard to apply another passport.

Tinawagan ko yung Canadian Travel and Tours, kaya pala mataas kaysa rate na nakuha ko ang nabigay sayo, kasi Toronto yung rate na tinanong mo, sa akin kasi Calgary... kaya pala... same rate daw sila sa Calgary $646 + P1620 travel tax, purchase must be made until July 31...

Tinawagan ko sila kasi na bother ako sa rate na binigay kay rhmanalili, toronto pala siya, calgary ako, kaya mas mataas rate niya... may promo pa din daw ang PAL, pero kung gusto mo ibang airlines pwede din...
