Manila V.O. - Waiting for the Passport with the Visa

now im confused.....isn't it supposed to be that DHL deliveries are overnight deliveries? So once the passports have been stamped, they should be on their way out for delivery the next day? or will there some more processing done before actual delivery? Jig...since insider ka...kindly enligthen us

Hey rich, my visa was stamped June 29, nag DM ako July 5, I got the visa July 20. Give it 2 weeks. Sabi ng agent "matumal" daw ang pag release ng passports. Kami lang nabigyan that day. Baka next week nandyan na yun. Baka nga nasa courier na din

Antay nanaman? I thought, super bilis lang ng pag-release ny stamped passport. 2 weeks of waiting pa ulit pala

now it makes sense...so nung time pala na super excited ako sa DM via ECAS e stamping pa lang ng VISA namin....meaning most probably July 12 stamped visa namin. Tapos ECAS got updated July 19. So meron pa palang "sorting" out na nangyayari kaya siguro matagal release. Anyways, tama ka...channel our energy to what would be useful. sa ngayon gawa na ko ng accounts sa monster.ca at BCjobs.ca. Hopeful ako na makakita ng prospect..kahit man lang interview pag dating namin. another thing is a place to stay....ala kasi kami kamaganak sa Vancouver e....good luck sa amin!

the visas are usually shipped out in batches... parang ang cycle ng VO is stamping ng visa on tuesdays, the following week i update nila ang e-cas mo then wed, thurs and friday they send the visas... visas usually arrive between thursdays to saturdays or even later... meron pa nga tayo dito na after two weeks pa nya talaga nakuha ang visa nya... those who have agents usually receive their visas in batches as well so the VO probably ship them out together na din... siguro kasi they organize our submitted documents pa before they clear it for sending... some may take longer than the others... ang important is nag DM na kayo...

sabi nga ni heatspine, 100% dito sa thread natin na nag DM, visa ang kasunod so don't worry and start preparing na... magpa book na kayo at mag start mag impake... mahirap ang nagmamadali... start converting your money as well... scarce ang CAD kaya antayan talaga... dadating din ang visa na yan... wala pa din naman tayong nabalitaan na visas na nawala (God forbid! ) so stay calm and channel your energy towards preparing for your migration... ;D

Thanks for the info Jig...baka abutin pa na past ng last day ko sa work ang dating ng visa namin (end of July) timing kasi ala na ko work at official "BUM" na ko kelanga mag-liquidate na nga....ala na revolving funds at on hold na last pay e

hop, tanong ko lang sang agency ka kumuha at when ung departure date mo. dami ko na kasing natanungan mahal ung quote nila considering last week na ng september ung kinukuha kong departure date.

can somebody confirm this most esp to those who attended PDOS.....

"The visa number is the document number. It is located right below the date of issue/date of expiry of the stamped visa in your passport"
