Ayun pumayag ako, so i applied tas nghanap cla sa mga relatives namin kung me kilala or relative cla na pakiusapn na dun muna ako sa kanila. Problem is, nahi2ya dn kc ako since i dont know them. Pro i decided dn na dun mgapply for eligibility, since yun yng prospect na pu2nthan ko. But i'm not sure of the province kung dun tlga gusto ko kc from the other forums i've read marami nahi2rapn maghanap ng job as a nurse sa BC. kaya nga if you can make it happen, do get yourselves registered before you get there... kahit RPN nasa 20$ na yata ang starting...yah yun nga dn kc me friend ako sa alberta gusto ko sna dun kaso nauna ko na kc isend yng papers ko sa BC. Tas bgla pa akong pina SEC assessment.. pwede sna dun kunin yung CRNE kc nationwide naman yun. Naisip ko dn Ontario kaso, na orient ako na me Bridging program dun kaya iniwasan ko hehe.. Yun pla if not nkapasa sa SEC assessment e yun dn lng ang bagsak ko sa BC hehe.. Ka2baliw mgisip kung san tlga mganda mgsettle.. So far, yun plang plano ko kung ala n tlga akong option bagsak ko tlga sa Coquitlam, BC. Pro i'm open pa for other options since ala pa nman yung visa.. Hndi pa rin ako nkapagreserve ng ticket hehe.. Yup balak sa Vancouver mgland.. Oo nga e sna lng kung ala pa akong application sa BC malamang i'll consider other provinces. Buti na lng me nhanap ako same situation sa kin. hehe thank you. di mo naisipan sa Ontario mag register as RN before? pwede naman sana stay ka sa BC and work with whatever decent job you can get while trying to get a license sa Ontario. pwede sana roommates nalang tayo. haha!

baby_gurl and splurge129, do not underestimate the kindness of strangers din... these relatives offering you shelter may be like strangers to you but the fact they have offered, or at least agreed to, help you in the beginning, that is a huge leap from landing on a province where you do not know anyone at all (wala man lang mag sundo sa inyo sa airport, singhot :'()... but heatspine is right as well, conflicts begin when you become too comfortable... ma invade nyo din sooner or later ang personal space and routine nila... i believe 2 weeks to a month is long enough to stay with relatives... especially when they have children... after a week or two (kung di nila kayo ipapasyal man lang) you would have become accustomed to the place kahit papano if you do your share of exploring and educating yourself about where you are... you can start looking for a place you can afford already and would know how to get from one place to another...look at it as an adventure... at least that's how my husband and i see it...
i suggest further (parang ielts ba) to try to give yourselves at least a month to two months na maghahanap lang kayo ng trabaho... yung full time work ha... madaming part time work na makikita, wag lang daw mapili (like crew sa fastfood restaurants, waitress etc. etc.) para wag ma deplete ang funds... kahit di nyo ka close si relative, i'm sure kahit papano they can point you to the right direction... super mega malas nyo na lang kung ang relative nyo na ito pala ay si lola agguida (super villain of the original telenovela FLOR DE LUNA ahihihihi!) or cruella de ville incarnate hahahaha! but then again, at least may sumundo sa inyo sa airport di ba nga? ;D and since pumayag silang kupkupin kayo for a time, try to win them with your fantastic personalities, hanggang makayanan ninyong lumipat... malay nyo, baka naman vice ganda ang arrive ninyo eh pagmakaawaan pa nila kayong wag silang lisanin ahiihhihi! :-* ;D
