Hi guys,
Ako din in process padin. November 23. submitted passport. Nasa list narin ako. Bakit kaya ito pa ang hinold nila na phase ng process no? Pano yung mga magtratravel walang passport. Katulad ko pupunta ako ng singapore, hindi ako makapagpabook..:c Are they allowed to hold passports for this long? huhuhu we need our passports. Pano kaya yung mga trabaho eh requirement yung frequent travelling outside the country? Ibig sabihin since October hindi sila makaalis?
Yes that's one of the most disappointing things about this. Those with other travel plans like us don't know how long we can put those on hold or if matuloy pa (gaaah!!!). Eh pag mag-travel pa naman, the earlier you book and prepare the better, lalo na if may kasabay kang iba whose plans might also be affected because of your plan that sort of thing. Nakaka-hassle rin not knowing when we'll get the visas. Sayang rin kasi panahon in terms of such a situation. I've reached my 90th day already too, if not yesterday, then tomorrow. My ecas is still under IN PROCESS status btw.
Looks like tinatapos ni CIC/CEM lahat ng utang nila sa mga 2004 and 2005 applicants. After all, they did tell those applicants probably 48 or 60 or 72 months to process their apps tapos lalagpas na lang saka lang ni-move when they probably should have been processing those dati pa. Tingnan nyo ngayon, parang sunod sunod sila. Kaya naman pala nila eh. Tapos pina-wait pa ng pagka-tagal tagal sila sabay accommodate ng new apps na mas inatupag nila. And now, tayo naman affected because of all that. Lol.
I guess to them, as long as they're within the visa processing/validity period pa rin that they stated, they think they should be safe and not risk legal proceedings against them if those applicants banded together. hehe. That's why they can really drag out the release of our visas as long as it gets released within the timeframe of the visa processing/validity period (sana lang that hasn't changed or be rescinded amidst all this hoopla). 8) Yung 12 months na processing I thought started when CIO NS received the app or emailed us the first AOR. Hindi pala. It means 12 months from when CEM received your full docs I guess.
This is why I expect mine to arrive at least two months before it expires (in July, also the month CEM got my full docs last year), or in March/April (when CIO NS sent me the first AOR) if I were more optimistic about things. Parang monthly na lang umu-urong yung due date pending developments we gather in the forums. Lol. Hirap talaga yung na-set expectations mo as per visa issuance history with previous FSW NOC38 batches, only to be thwarted without much due notice. Teehee!
Sorry if medyo non-optimistic mode right now. Am a realist kasi and tend to assess worst-case scenarios just to be prepared. hehe. Mahirap na to delude oneself. Better set expectations low para if good outcome mas happy. haha! ;D
Anyhoo andyan na po yan so there's not much else one can do but wait, try to be optimistic, be busy/prepared, share updates on our thread, etc.
Have a nice evening ebribadee!
