which brings me to my own speculations (para tayong si sherlock holmes nito nyan hahahahaha! ;D)... i believe the VO is basing the processing on the VISA VALIDITY... meaning, very important ang time kung kelan nagpa first medical (which usually dictates the visa validity) plus the time when you first submitted your application to the CIO (not including the pre-march2008 applicants)...

si alvers, who applied in january 2010, should have had his medical sometime july according to the processing timeline of our batch... if all went well with his MR (ie no additional medical exams required), he should have had his PPR within 6 to 8 weeks... so september dapat... so why submit their passports ng nov na di ba? dahil dyan lang sa MR ang applicants nagkakaroon ng differences sa pag release ng PPR... so i'm thinking baka may additional medical requests pa sila alvers... that's why i was asking him what his visa validity was (kaso para syang mushroom na sumulpot at nawala yata hahahahaha! ;D)

so i'm beginning to really believe that it's not actually WHEN we submitted our passports that matters, it's until when our visa will be valid that has more weight... they want us to have as much time to prepare for migration as possible, hence inuuna ang mga mas malapit na ang validity ng visa... ito naman ay mala sherlock holmes ko lang na opinion wahahahaah! ;D ;D ;D so duda ko, yung mga may visa validity until august naman ang susunod na gagalaw ;D ;D ;D

badtzmaru, you're right, we are all lucky to have had our papers processed so quickly... we should focus on that and stay positive... just think about all the nurses who have already taken their IELTS and were unable to make it to the cut-off date... may chismis pa na magbabago na naman ang rules nila come june of this year...

let's promise ha, wala tayong sungitan dito... ang sumuway ay kastiguhin agad ng magtanda hahahaha! and let's keep updating each other when we get to canada... it helps to share experiences... malay nyo, nagkita na pala tayo sa park hindi man lang tayo nagchikahan hahahaha!

heatspine is right... let's make use of our time waiting worthwhile... like anyone here who needs immunization forms for their kids, download nyo na sa CIC website... it should be signed by your pedia... you need to present this before your kids get admitted to school... and of course, there is the unending search for cheaper plane rates...

we will have another week full of good news na naman... so we wait again :'( : ???

Oo nga you have a really valid point there too. Visa validity rin nga pala. Lol. (See? It really pays joining this thread... para merong some more dose of reality if napa-praning na sa kahihintay for the visa. Lol! ;D Bat kasi ang bilis nila in the past two years mag-process for those who submitted between Feb 2008 and end-2009 for FSW NOC38, tapos biglang, ta-dah!...maghintay muna those who submitted their apps in 2010.... ahehehe!).

Nai-inggit nga ako to those who have attended and have scheduled their CIIP seminar already. I'll be attending it as soon as I possibly can and that is when I'm done with my last day at work. 8) I can be a multitasker, but due to work constraints etc, not that much of a multi-tasker am afraid. Lol!

So so far, it's the slowly getting the things I'd need to bring as well knowing as much pre-departure to-dos/info as possible pa lang nagagawa ko. I didn't think I'd be checking an immigration thread daily, and my ecas status, weekly. But that's been what's happening lately. hehe!

So to our fellow thread posters, just as heatspine, canimmigrant, and others have said/or in mind, let's keep ourselves otherwise busy and prepared; and not only give each other updates and the right info but also manage expectations for everyone participating or reading this thread as well while doing so, to keep our praning inner selves sane while waiting! haha!

And yes, bawal po to be unnecessarily masungit, hiding "talangkas", and negatively reactive dito. hahaha!

Hi Everyone! Thank you sa lahat ng updates dito sa Forum na to. My day will not be complete without reading this thread. Katulad ninyo naiinip na rin kami, gusto na namin makuha visa namin para maka-move na kami (maka-resign, makapag-benta, at makapag-plano). I guess, let's make the most out of our remaining days, weeks or months in Manila. Naka-attend na rin kami ng hubby ko ng CIIP, kaka-stress kase narealize namin ang dami palang kaylangan gawin habang nandito. Kaya naman habang naghihintay, nagdecide na kami gawin lahat ng pwede pang gawin. Pinapasyalan na rin namin lahat ng pwedeng pasyalan dito sa Pinas hahaha baka kase di na kami makabalik.

Sa mga ngsubmit ng passport ng October, madami po ba kau trips abroad? Maybe one rison kaya hindi pa naibabalik madami ginagawa na security checks.

sorry gade 23 pala, i forgot to ask nabasa ko kasi yung binigay mong timeline, according to you ang PPR mo na receive mo thru email? did you recieve it from your email or sa email ng consultant natin? kasi di ba direct sa kanila lahat ng communication ng embassy.

Hi rbganda, yup im under cpnis too.. I know someone who is also under cpnis and waiting also for visa...Regarding PPR, they just informed me that they received it through their email....Hope that you'll receive your PPR soon and ours visa naman... God bless!

104th day of waiting still no news....cem replied to me today...same reply with kiking...i think they do not check talaga ung status ng documents natin sa inquiry...parang playing safe ang sagot nila...para wala ng follow up questions pa...hay naku....any updates guys?
