hello forum mates, happy holidays!
QUESTION: Does PPR guarantee the Canadian visa?
SITUATION: Our visas will expire on Feb. 2013, our passports are already at the CEM since our PPR last July, until now.

My husband's office advised him to tender his resignation at least 2 months before we go, to process his clearance, and eventually to get his end of service award (which we will use as part of our proof of fund).
To compute, he should resign right this time to process everything and for us to be cleared for our final exit visas from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
We are worried to lose our jobs here, and yet no Canadian visas yet. Anyone please, any comments or same situation as ours...

Hello kababayan! merry Christmas! iMo ppr is like 99% visa. But meron pa din 1%. Pero halos lahat ng ppr during my wait is sure shot visa!! My suggestion:

1. Start packing
2. Enjoy the warm weather

Anyway, im in Ottawa (just for the holidays) -ganda ng parliament building and SNOW!! Sa totoo lang yung mga palabas na may snow hindi ako nakakarelate noong hindi pa ako nakakexperience ng totoong snow. Pero grabe ang lamig!

God bless!

Hi sodapop,

That was the issue of most of the applicants before kaya nag-start ang thread na ito. Only the embassy knows when the visa are issued kaya the next best thing to do is to track the progress of the other applicants. Jigjig is correct in saying that most have their visa released before its expiration. Make sure to plan everything and be ready for it. Sana your husband's office can compromise because of your situation. Goodluck!

Hi, thanks for theresponse....here's our plan "B"...

Is it possible kung ang PA muna ang mag-land (which is my husband)...kaya lang short-landing kasi kelangan nyang bumalik dito sa Saudi to finish his job contract then pag ok na,tsaka kami sabay-sabay na aalis to settle in Canada for good?

If ever possible, ung POF ay paranalang muna sa 1 person, am I right?

May nakatanggap na ng passport with visa?

Sana may visa na this week

Hi everyone! :)
Any one here who received their visa and plans to land in Calgary? Or is already in Calgary and can recommend a place? pls PM me.. Need help in finding accommodation.
Thanks :)

Just received our visa today! Thank you Lord for the blessings!

Sorry for the late reply. Been busy and haven't logon for a while. To answer your question yes. Your husband can land in Canada first then go back to Saudi and all of the rest can land at the same time. I'm not sure about the coverage of the POF but to be safe its better that the first person covers for all.

Let me know how it turns out.

Check lagi ung expiry ng VISA kasi it applies to each of the PA and dependents. So even your dependents have to LAnd before the VISA expires kahit nauna pa ung pA.

Just FYI.
