Manila V.O. - Waiting for the Passport with the Visa

soo glad i found this forum.

PPR n ko nung april 20. then na send ko na via dhl ung passport ko with some additional requirements nung april 27 pero as per dhl nung april 30 daw na received ng cem c SG nelson ang nagreceived.

till now wala pa..di ko alam mararamdaman ko. im worried... sana tlg dumating na... hayyyy..

Sa akin di lumabas ung address sa canada ni minsan. So i guess thats normal.

hello there..try to check po your ecas if its in process or DM na..mi3 ka po ba?yun iba kasi na nag ppr last april 19,may visa na last month and paalis na rin this month un ibang kakilala ko.

hello guys,

I just want to ask those who are planning to fly these coming months or those who are already in Canada.


1. The specific instructions before landing in Canada.

A. what documents should be readily available on our hand carry bag?

I. declaration of funds "FORM"(This is very impt daw esp for the FSW) - is this the complete form? cash should be written on currency and coins? while the BD and other travelers cheques should be written on the monetary instruments? -Thank you for your guidance.

II. declaration of goods (I just have a xerox copy from PDOS) -- does anyone have a clear copy of it? any link please? pleaseeeee??



III. Passport with Visa of course.

IV. COPR ( 2 copies right?)

V. NSO -birth Certificate?

VI. 70% traveler's check and 30% cash(USD) (for those who have relatives in Canada,you can just explain that you dont need to en-cash your money urgent and your relatives will assist you during your 1st-2nd month of stay in Canada)

VII. EXit clearance from your personnel office (I heard that this is very important esp for those who are employed in the government. so resignation is really an option here.)

GTB/GTF forms Decalaration forms for goods brought/follow same form lang for both Goods to Follow and Goods to Bring just tick the part where there are goods to follow on b4. Ung b4a eh parang extension lang ng b4 form ha.

Well, meron pa isang form na ibibigay or handout ng stewardess/airline personnel minutes before you land to Canada (first entry, usually vancouver) Decalaration of Goods din ulet un, just 1 form for the entire family. Ung ticket nyo just in case hanapin. Ung NSO birth certificate di naman usually hinahanap. Also ung contact number and address ng pagdadalhan ng PR card nyo kailangan nasa bag nyo or sa phone kasi hahanapin yan ng immigration officer.

hi..declaration of goods na form and funds lang inorient samin ng pdos.but its okay..I still have a COA seminar this coming July..
