wala akong kilala first hand, pero madami nag kwento sakin. Like my kid, she told me her classmate is going back to the Philippines kasi nahihirapan daw yung parents nya. Basta wag kayong ma dismaya! ;) mahirap talaga buhay! tulad ngayon may "snow storm", kahapon kakalinis ko lang sasakyan. Bwiset hehehehehe :P

Madaming work dito. Wag kayong matakot madumihan kamay nyo. Ang suggestion ko sa lahat dumaan sa costi immigration services, sila ang tutulong talaga sa inyo. My wife got her job through costi.

Have faith, pag may tyaga may nilaga.

Here's my fav verse pag dating sa Canada:

Jeremiah 29:11

New Living Translation (NLT)

11 For I know the plans I have for you,” says the LORD. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.

;D

One more thing to remember, once you arrive keep in mind you are not here for vacation. Reward yourselves for every achievement, but dont splurge. ;)

question lang po to all those who already submitted their Passports and also to those who received their visas... meron po ba sa inyo na ang picture sa passport ay naka-smile... kc po nong nag-apply kami ng passport lahat ng pics na sinubmit namin ng kids ko ay naka-smile at labas ang ngipin pero inaccept naman po at nabigyan na nga po kami na passport... now that we're waiting for our PPR, I'm wondering baka i-reject ng CEM ang passports namin dahil naka-smile kami... your opinions are really appreciated... thank you...

Just received our visa today, Feb25! Thanks God. :)

Guys, tanong ko lang sa mga naka pag land na just for landing purpose and not yet to live permanently, nag prepare na ba kayo ng list of goods that you bring and list of goods that you will bring in the future? Nag check kasi ako sa canada border sevices agency and i found out this statement- "Persons entering Canada to become Permanent Residents without the intention of residing immediately in Canada are not considered Settlers to Canada since they do not have any intention of remaining in Canada at that time, and will live outside Canada for an undetermined period of time. Therefore, under customs legislation, these persons are considered visitors to Canada, even if they are Permanent Residents for immigration purposes."
Hingi namn ako ng opinion sa inyo.. Thanks

Manila vo will ask new set of pictures once they ask for your passport for visa stamping. May guidelines sila sa pictures na kylangan nyo isubmit which they will also provide. Pero walang nakalagay sa guidelines na yun na bawal mag smile pero yun pla yung isa sa mga pictures na isusubmit nyo ay eventually gagamitin para sa pr card nyo once nag land na kayo and when i checked the guidelines para sa pr card photo, same size and sya as what manila vo is asking for visa issuance pero may nakalagay sa photo guideline ng pr card bawal ang nakasmile, neutral face dapat. So once the vo ask for your passport and photo be sure tell all your family members na neutral face lang para ndi sumabit sa pr card. Nabalitaan ko kc na maraming nkakalusot sa vo with regards to photo requirements pero pag dating sa pr card maraming na rereject, come to think of it same photo naman ang ginagamit nila. I hope this info will be of use to you.
