august 18,2011 po ang expiration ng visa ko...sa analysis ko po ewan ko din sa case ni epgamer...ung friend namin july expire nila kaya khit dec lang cla ngpass nlabas din agad ng jan 27 dhil cguro my time frame din cla na not less than 6 months b4 expiration marelease ang visa...di ko alam kung ganun din tingin nyo...what do you think...

medyo mabilis nga po ung processing nung sa akin sbi sa agency, kc naman everytime my update the next day nagpapasa na agad kami ng requirements, ito lang tlaga pong passport na ang matagal...kala nga nla dec. lalabas visa namin...kaya i filed for indefinite leave sa work ko...we started lang po to apply march 2010, 1si aor ko around may, june doc request, pinasa ko naman agad kc complete na sya, august 10 medical request na kami, tapos nga po oct 28 ppr, kaso holiday so we submitted nov.2...hay tagal grabe....

Will that affect our application, sana kung mapapabilis pero we are not sure. Sabi naman ng agency namin no need to inform them kasi they have pur passport na and soon marerelease din un. corbe, congratulations! no need to inform the VO of your pregnancy... yung friend ko got pregnant after their medical, andun na sya sa canada now... sana na lang lumabas na visa nyo before you start showing... dahil ang problem naman is with the airlines... meron dyan di na nagpapasakay ng buntis at mga pasaway daw hahahahaha! joke... seriously, dahil madaming incident ang inaabutan mangitlog sa airplane... so don't worry... ;D ;D ;D

canada5, this is wonderful insight... i've been trying to figure out WHY on earth would someone be processed earlier in the same category (FSW)... i think you are right... the VO follows the timeline pa din... kaya nga the date of the initial medical (which is usually the basis for the validity of the visas) is important... according to the date of initial medicals pa din ang sinusunod nila, regardless... they at least try to give us 6mos to prepare for migration before our visas expire... so heatspine, gusto mo lagyan din natin ng VISA VALIDITY column ang schindler's list natin? hahahaha!

@ hellokitty_catnip: immigration is a personal choice as they say. during the application process, emotions run high. minsan very motivated na akong lumipad. minsan naman i second guess myself and think if its really what i want. ganun namn siguro talaga ang mararandaman specially there's an "unknown" portion of our intended journey. personally, i treat this as adventure. its fun and its hard as well. living in a new environment, new society, adopting to new procedures, new culture etc... there's so much to learn. kaya when i get bored waiting for that visa, i try my best to learn those new things from here pa lang. i try to read as much as possible about canada, its provinces, its people. minsan na-overwhelm ako sa information. it's like going back to school again. siguro next time pati history ng canada titirahin ko na rin .... hahahaha ... when there's information overload naman - i try to beef up my employment chances. i check out the resources provided for by CIIP. update my cv and browse thru the job banks. masarap rin na libangan to check the real estate.

kaya talaga, nakakainip naman talaga mag-antay ng visa. pero when i think about those things above, it get my mind of it and minsan pa nga i feel guilty of not doing much while i'm still here.

so ayun, wish ko na dumating ang visa nating lahat ... now na ... hahahaha ....

heatspine, you know i'm so happy to have found this blog talaga... i'm feeling somewhat ambivalent about leaving as well... i have three kids... 12, 7 and 5... i researched and thank God you can legally leave kids 12 years or older na pala with siblings basta no sibling younger than 6... my youngest will turn 6 this june... we plan to migrate 1st week of sept... so parang sabi ni Lord sa akin, lahat ng tulong at gaan binibigay na nya sa akin... still i can't shake the sadness off... so it is such a relief to read your post... siguro i'm just getting cold feet... life altering experience nga naman ito for us all... sarap din buhay dito sa totoo lang... kahit kapitbahay mo pwede mo pagbilinan sa mga anak mo hahahahaha!

anyways, let's continue to update each other kahit naka land na tayo... let's share our experiences and help each other out...

on corbe, since may baby sa chanda romero mo, enjoy enjoy lang araw araw, hwag ma-stress..besides ang sabi sa PPR natin :

napagdaanan ko rin ang paghihintay na yan...at ang kawalang pag-asa sa ECAS change...pero nung dumating yung visa namin, nalungkot ako..siguro iba-ibang case noh?..parang napakabilis naman lahat ng mga pangyayari, parang kulang naman ang oras para maghanda (kahit matagal na kaming naghahanda)...hahahah...!

naku happy naman po ako sa shinare nyo...i also hav 3 kids 13,9, and 5...and b4 magexpire visas namin on aug, they all will turn a year older...so pede ko na cla iwan sa bahay once in a while....ang tagal namang dumating ni visa...
