Hi Guys
I plan to have a driving lesson next month. I never had the experience of having a driver's license here in the Philippines or anywhere. Questions, what is the advantage of getting an LTO driver's license before migrating to canada? Is there really a benefit in getting a so called 'International driver's license' here in Phils? (some says it's useless) Is it better to learn to drive here and then just directly apply there in canada? Calgary is my target destination. Please enlighten me. Thanks!
Hi!!! my hubby advised me to have driving lessons too,got my license na 3 months ago..my in laws in canada had to pay more sa mga driving schools nila doon... very expensive daw...even husband or relatives are not allowed to teach u. driving school lang...u nid their certificate bfor you can apply.. but if you have driving license na bfore going there, if bago lang ung license mo and its less than a yr, u have to wait for a year before ka makapag apply ng LICENSE...BUT U ARE NOT REQUIRED TO STUDY SA DRIVING SCHOOLS NILA THERE NA MAHAL... IF MORE THAN A YR NA ANG LICENSE MO HERE IN PINAS, U CAN APPLY FOR A DRIVING LICENSE RYT AWAY... BUT STRICT SILA SA ROAD TEST & WRITTEN EXAMS...
BY THE WAY,
DRIVERS NEED TO GET CERTIFICATE FROM LTO, AND HAVE IT AUTHENTICATED SA DFA, THAT HELPS A LOT DAW, MAS MABABA PATI ANG INSURANCE NA IBIBIGAY SA CANADA... THEY WANT TO SEE KC HOW LONG THEY DRIVE NA, AND IF THEY HAVE ANY CASE HERE...
HOPE THIS HELPS...
