Manila V.O. - Waiting for the Passport with the Visa

FYI my agent texted this afternoon to inform me that some people from CIC (canadian immigration consultancy) will be going to the embassy tomorrow to follow up the visas of oct-sent PPs and hopefully sana matanong na din nila kung bakit soooobraaaang tgal na ng pagbalik ng passports ngaun. sana magising naman na mga VOs at sipagin na silang mgstamp ng visas natin...

hay khit wala pa ang visas nmin bibili na ako ng luggage, alisbayan boxes,socks,etc namin bukas kc sale sa SM

I just wanna ask about the immigration system of US and canada...

What is the difference with the two countries considering immigration backlogs? As well as to those officers in-charge to our applications which thus reached VO...

In my expetience regarding US...i was denied two times for tourist and working visa with different time slot...reason: they have met their said quota for that day, other applicants were also denied bcoz d conzul wasnt in-d-mood to give his visa, even worst conzul saw your attire en noticed that it was just immitation giving u denied status without even raising any important questions

so, do you think canadian consuls here in our VO would do such? Reading from forums to forums i have noticed that even with passing points en authenticity of d documents they failed to satisfy the VO

I don't think so.
CIC has their set of qualifications, we satisfy them, they will give us what we want.
CIC is straight forward....just my one cent....

seriously nagtataka ako kasi as far as i know kapag nag passport request na the visa is already there and ready ng idikit sa mga pssport natin but how come ang tagal ng mga passports natin. kahit anong gawin nating maging busy still still very confusing parin at isa pa sa batch natin . Rene please correct if im wrong diba pag visa stamping na tapos na nilang i check lahat ng mga DOCUMENTS NATIN.

They will not check anymore like in my case when i had my PPR it states in their letter that my visa will expire on September 2011 so nandyan na ang visa ko at for stamping nalang talaga. Lets just be patient nalang everybody and wait for our visas. it will arrive soon.. for the mean time you start shopping for the things you will bring with you to canada. Me and my family are all set. Yung passport nalang talaga then mag pdos then fly na to winnipeg..

yes yung friend ko nagpareserve na ng 2 br apartment for us. same apartment building lang kami and right accros the apartment is a private school where my kids will go.

anong grade na ng mga anak mo kasi kami plan namin ng tapusin muna namin itong school year na to sayang eh!!! pero kung papayag naman ang school na mag exam na ng maaga mas maganda para maka fly na rin kami.

may nabasa ako na every tuesday at friday nagdidispatch ang CEM.
yung sa akin Tuesday dumatin at ang sabi ni Mr. DHL, madaling araw daw yon dumating sa kanila=)...Soooo, antay antay bukas at bka may manganak na naman!!!
