in my experience, ang advantage lang ay hindi ko na kailangang bsahin yung application guidelines kc sinabi na lang nila yung requirements sa akin. sayang talaga yung 65k na binayad nmin sa kanila.
kung nalaman ko lang ang forum na to nung ngstart plang ako with the application di na ako ngconsultancy pa.just read the application guidelines sa website ng cic and mgtanong ka sa mga seniors dito, for sure masasagot nila mga questions mo kc mas magagaling pa sila sa mga consultants ;D and mind you pla may mga manloloko ding consultants, so be careful!

I agree. Lalo na if your application credentials and documents are pretty straightforward, and no special cases to worry about that probably only a lawyer can answer, then I think it's better not to get services from an immigration consultant. Better use the fee for your POF or moving expenses.

It all starts at this website http://cic.gov.ca. All the instructions and information and forms are available from there -- Canada's official government website for their immigration bureau -- to all planning to live, work, study, or travel to Canada.

Then once you've gone through the info from that site, and you've more questions, you can refer to this forum or other available pinoy applicants' forums. It helped me a lot when I made my application, and also to understand/know what to expect as well as know the next step.

our CIC agent here in baguio has yet to receive our visa coming from cic manila....she just called me up to inform that the VISA is in the house na...by saturday thats tomorrow,when it arrives here in Baguio...thats when we get the Visa..I will inform you guys when were our passports stamped...

Sabi ko na nga ba e. One way of knowing kung may na-issue na visa is to see the thread expand fast. Pag nakita ko na may 3-5 pages agad overnight -- alam ko na may good news na!

Guys galing pala ako sa CIIP, sabi ng friend ko who works there too kaya daw late mga passport natin with visa
kasi daw sumobra yung visas na nabigyan last year.

Sumobra siguro in a way, (sample lang ha) yung dapat nilang quota kunyari sa 2000 lang last year eh mga 2100 or whatever. Kaya
daw may lag sa pag bigay ng passport.

Kalahati nung mga kasama ko wala pa rin visa. Kaya goodluck, sana parating na rin visa natin.
Ang labo nga eh kasi yung iba na tga CIIP mismo napansin hindi sya chronological order, yung iba
na passport nakuha lang eh December nabigyan na daw visa. Well anyway, at least nandun na tayo
sa stage na passport na lang ibabalik. So let us just pray.
