Manila V.O. - Waiting for the Passport with the Visa

hi guys... tomorrow's the much-awaited day of the week again, and hope makuha na ninyo ang mga inaasam na DMs and visas. Just an update, i have attended PDOS today and the sticker has been already stamped in my passport (may kamahalan siya 400 pesos). Kaya ready to go na kami sa April 27. Btw, better kung mag-download na lang kayo ng PDOS form sa website nila www.cfo.gov.ph kaysa dun pumila para humingi ng form, less hassle. Be there around 7:00am para may enough time sa pag-fill-up and may time para mag-breakfast. We finished the registration process at 9:00am so may 30-minutes pa kami to take our breakfast. Dont worry, may crew ng Jollibee dun sa vicinity asking for orders then ideliver niya agad sa inyo.. (jollibee is just across the street). Bout PDOS, nothing new naman sa mga infos.. almost all items ay nabasa ko na sa mga forums and somewhere...

After PDOS, nag-file na ako ng Provident Fund Claim sa Pag-ibig ofc in Makati (Gil Puyat). Need lang notarized form ng declaration of permanent departure , photocopy ng passport and visa, then 2 valid IDs, saka of course yung Pag-ibig form nila. Then i was advised to make follow up call after 15 working days for releasing of checks. Sana makuha ko before kami umalis...

hi newbie ako dito.. i just want to know kung meron dito member n nag apply thru mga agency n papunta canada within 75 days? as immigrant..

hi! I highly doubt this...

i guess to be safe.. have them sign a "return all investments" agreement with you if they do not deliver the 75 days. I'm sure di sila mag-si-sign and sasabihin nila sa yo that is a case to case basis.

kaya kung kaya mo din lang process on your own....do it on your own. kelangan lang talaga particular ka sa details (OC kumbaga). i think the only value if ever these agencies can give you is strategy on how to apply or go about the rulings and policies surrounding the application process IF AND ONLY IF your case is a special case (i.e. there are certain requirements that would need you to consult legal aspects of your situation). Otherwise, they are all equal in the eyes of the embassy.

Hi I'm also new here, these postings are a lot helpful to me concerning my family's application for PR visa. I have noticed in some postings that waiting for passport and visa takes 4-6 months, I just don't understand why CEM is keeping passports that long. Nevertheless, Good luck to all of us I hope and pray we get our PR Visas very soon.

Hi. First time ko lang dito although matagal ko na binabasa yung mga post nyo. haha. Galing ako sa kabilang forum kasama nina heatspine.

May question lang ako regarding follow-up sa CEM. Nag follow-up kasi kami using the case-specific query sa cic.gc.ca site nila. And wala pa kami narerecieve na notification until now. March 18 pa kami nagsend. Gusto lang kasi namin na maensure na nasa kanila yung passport namin. Gano kaya katagal bago makarecieve ng email from them?

Lastly, yung mailing address ba na nasa ECAS dun lang ba nila imamail directly yung PP with visa? I wonder bkit yung sa iba, e consultancy nila yung nakakarecieve.

hello sync05, welcome to our thread... i also initially attempted to make a case specific inquiry... however, after reading in the CIC website that no response will be given if your application still fall under the processing times, i just inquired using the email address indicated in my PPR (as per mimi's instructions -- thanks again mimi!)... they replied after two working days... although i got the standard "we have received your passports and your application blah blah", at least i got to verify that our passports are indeed with them...

you will not get a reply on your case specific inquiry if you are within the processing time of 11 mos (start counting from the time you submitted your complete application package to the Manila VO)...

Dapat consultant din ako, pero when the documents that I initially sent to NS had a return envelope with another applicant's name na hindi chineck nung consultant and which I discovered right before sending the documents to Fedex, I've decided to go on my own... sayang lang ang pera. I think what's important is your detailed resume, the professional code (Hope I got the term correct), ung required points and the list of requirements.
