@ jangong congratulation,youre long waiting is over,so happy for you guys,at kami na wala pa PPR..sana maayos na din dont loose hope kami nga need pa tapusin treatment kid ko then xray uli,sobra bilis sa umpisa sa bandang huli bigla bagal..honestly kalungkot din pero no guts of backing out..andito na to nasimulan na ang laban,ofcourse we have to acknowledge our sentiments cause thats the reality of our application but in the end its on us pa rin to give our self encouragement and this forum it help's us to ease the worries and anxiety...kaya thanks God at nagpapaulan sila ng PPr sana lahat positive outcome at mejo bilisan ng mga VO.

hi everyone! i have a dilemma now which i hope you can be of help. we are about to send our passport for visa stamping to the Canadian embassy in Manila. i am the principal applicant but my passport, which i used for my application, is still in my maiden name but my marital status is already married in my application. i just used my maiden name for the application because that is what was in my passport at the time i applied. my Philippine passport will expire exactly 6 months from the time of our due landing in Canada.

my question is: should i renew my passport here in Manila and have it changed to my married name already before submitting it to the embassy or should i wait for the visa first and then have my passport renewed still in Manila? will they consider it a discrepancy if the visa issued is in my maiden name but my new passport is in my married name? will i be questioned for that upon arrival? the critical issue with this option of renewing my passport first and changing to my married name is that issuance of a new passport do take some time here in the Philippines and the embassy has given me only 45 days to submit my passport for visa stamping.

another option for me is to just renew my passport in the philippine embassy in toronto. however, since my PR card and visa is still in my maiden name will i have problems transacting (such as finding work, buying a house, opening a bank account, applying for a credit card, applying for the canadian medical exam, enrolling my child in school, buying a car) in canada?

thanks a lot and i do hope i get a quick response from all of you. my family and i are planning to fly to Canada already on July.

I suggest you renew yourpassport before sending it to them.... Para wala ng hassle...

very true gabrielsjimenez there is no point for us waiting for ppr to back out... its been a long journey to canada but if we got our visa's its gonna be worth it... ako ang daming ko natutunan sang journey na ito and ders reli a purpose for everything... In God's time dadating din si PPR nd naman tayu ni lord pina abot sa ganito kng nd tau para ky canada pray pray & pray lng tayo.... walang imposible ky LORD...

LIke you guys, several times a day din kami mag check ng email and e-cas tracker. Address also disappeared last jan 28. BTW, we are a family of 6 (kids ages 22 RN, age 16, 10, and 8. RICHMOND is our target place to land. When we found this site, we were glad to know na Hindi pala kami nag Iisa sa pagka praning. normal lang pala yung pagkainip namin..so near yet so far..kaya sana dumating na din PPR namin this feb. 3rd month na namin last jan 20 (since meds received by CEM)

@ jangong 5 kasi kami,3 kids ko yung youngest ko na mukhang healthy pa nagka problema may nakapa sila lymnodes ,kasi galing sa sipon at ubo the time na magmediclal kami,so yun advise ng embassy for chest xray after naforward nd DMP result ng medical namin,then after 3 weeks sumulat uli samin embassy na irefer daw kami ng DMP sa pedia pulmonologist that happens na sa makati med kami nirefer so niread ng pedia yung xray negative naman daw, tapos skin test si baby ginagawa yun para malaman kung positive for primary complex or PTB sa matanda,nag positive sya so nirequire ng 9mos treatment until april 2012 ang gamutan pero isang gamot lang its like to prevent him to have PTB..kasi pag meron sya na PTB 4 na gamot ang iniinom..so buti na lang di apat ang gamot..now reply sila

thru email na tapuisn yung gamot then chest xray uli mga ilang bwan kaya sila issue PPR pagkatapos namin forward yung latest chest xray?dissapointed talaga..pero no choice reaaly have to be more patient

hello gabriel, thanks for sharing. sana maging okay na si baby (sana misdiagnosis lang din at mabuti na rin nakasiguro). i've read in some other thread na may case din na pinabalik ng medicals at pagsubmit nila ng results, PPR kaagad. sana ganun din sa inyo. don't worry, keep the faith alive po and everything will be fine. I know easier said than done and I've been through kakaloka na pag-antay and I know how it feels but Canada is almost within reach so more patience and prayers na lang po... good luck sa ating lahat....

mabilis na lang yan... in 2 weeks time meron ka ng visa...!!!! congratz...

huwag , dapat palagi! dunno the exact date na nareceive ng CEM ang aming meds but nareflect sa eCAS ang line na "Medical results have been received" November 3. sana soon makuha na namin ang aming maple leaf. thanks again m-jay! kayo na ang susunod, don't worry!

hi thanks for the suggestion. ang problem ko kasi with renewing beforehand is baka madelay naman ang pagrelease ng new passport and di kami makahabol sa deadline to submit the passports to the embassy by March15 for visa stamping. baka madelay pa ang pag-alis namin pag ganun. tsaka i need to set an appointment pa sa DFA di b? halos puno na rin kasi yung malapit na mga dates.
i was looking through the website of the Philippine consulate in Toronto, pwede din magrenew and magchange in name. halos same lang ang price, difference of around 500-1000pesos lang.
haay, nalilito ako! gusto ko kasi sure na makaalis na kami

@jovai..youre right on HIS own perfect time yun na lang lage isip ko na di naman kami kaabot sa ganito stage kung di ganda outcome maybe it's just a test of faith,to share with guys this is our 3rd application abroad the first one is in europe kasi nurse nga ako,kaya lang nagkaproblema sa agency namin,kaya pang 3rd na IELTS ko na to kasi more than 3years kami wait then after that apply din ako US may agency din ako kaya lang di ako nakapasa sa CGFNS pero try sana uli ako US pero biglang dating ang canada my wife advise me na eto ang try namin..from the start pal ang in good faith na kami,were always claiming na makakapasa kami at makakpunta canada kasi sabi nga pag nag pray ka kay Lord dapat claim muna na mangyayari..Me and my wife really want this for the better of our kid's and im sure most of us are in the same boat,it's a long journey for us applicants just keep the faith...


@jangong yup sana ok na lahat kasi sa april, 9 mos na sya inom ng medication nya,anyway negative namn sya sa xray higpit lang talaga sila pagdating sa lung problem..Hopefully thi april when we submit my son's chest xray eh ok na lahat.

another week of waiting na naman mukhang di kami kasama this week na maswerte hehehe! nagstart application namin march 11, 2011 then pinarocess sya ng aug. 22, 2011 ng embassy tapos nagmedical kami ng aug at nareceived ng embassy ng sept 12, 2011 till now wala pa kaming passport request hay nakakainip talaga ang tagal kasi samantalang yung iba 2 mos. lang may reply na kami wala pa rin sana naman kahit this mos. eh mabigyan na kami para makahabol kami ng april. goodluck sa ating lahat
