Ditto only few more weeks to go and then you will be reunited with your wife. Hang in there. Roughly once the application have been sent to CIC, how long does it take for them to approve me to be a sponsor?

Yep only a few weeks left to go but can you believe it that the booking got messed up. I have bought lots of flights before and this is the one the booking company screws up on.

Right now CIC is at 62 days for sponsor approval. They are processing apps received on Feb 4, 2015.

@ Verry Happywife

Thanks its just frustrating and the reasoning is really stupid as to why the booking got messed up...I am guessing because the ticketing name didn't match the card holder paying the bill me lol. Some ones automated booking system is messed up. Hoping to have this all fixed by Wed or Thurs.
I talked to her about the seminar and she thinks she will attend it when she arrives back in the Philippines as she is quite far from Manila at the moment.

Chris.
Don't be stress out, it can be solve.. Always remember,after all those things,you and your wife will be together and everything of those things will be completely done.relax your self .i cannot understand of booking as my husband is the only one booked on things especially airline,but for sure it can be fix..follow it up by wed and thurs..
That's good you told her. Yeah,she needs to attend it anyway,or either way as she neeeds a certification with it and need exit stamp..but she will have to reserve an appointment too as it's by schedule and many will take seminars.

Christoph100;
If you dont mind me asking, where is your wife from? Hubby said when he went to CEM on thurs, there was only 5 of them that are urgent.

She is Filipino the urgency began because she was only visiting her family in the Philippines and is headed back to Thailand the end of this month and needed her passport to travel, as well now she needs her passport to finalize her work permits and documents for Thailand. Since she has her visa in hand she has decided to go back to the Philippines til the end of May and wait for her flight there because once her work permit is closed in Thailand she technically has to leave or stay as tourist (extra money to stay).

I am just curious is it possible to have some of wife's belongings to be shipped here before she arrives? That would be the B4A form (goods to follow )? or the reg B4 (but that one is normally with new resident when landing) would not be anything major just a box or two of clothing would save her some headache trying to bring it in luggage.
Thanks.

Chris.

Forget this question I found the answer I called CBSA myself and the B4 and B4A forms are used on landing and goods to follow after arrival. Things can not be shipped before landing is complete. If it was shipped before hand taxes could be levied against it as it would be considered a regular importation of goods.
