For what it is worth, I did receive an auto reply both times I ordered GCMS notes. I don't know if it matters or not, but you at least have your receipt you can refer to for any inquiries.

Thanks Dan....as a matter of fact...it JUST showed up!

Manila thread seniors,

i want to ask - about school of kids from Pinas, when they arrive and enroll in school in Canada, does it matter if they finished the school year on March 2013 or not? What are the bases of year level (i got 3 sons yr8, yr5 and kinder) for enrolment there? It is age of the child or what year level he finished in the Philippines?

Thank you so much.
itsd the age they use,,,,usually they will assign them in a year extra,,higher grade,,,,i found that out b4,,,I HAD 1 GIRL WHO STARTED SCHOOL AT AGE OF 11 AND WAS IN GRADE 6 THEY PUT HER IN GRADE 10,,, THE OTHER KIDS ALL JUMPED 1 GRADE,,,,THEY HAD FINISHED SCHOOL IN EARLY MARCH ,,,,NO RECORDS OF EDUCATION WAS REQUIRED, THE SECOND OLDEST JUST GRADUATED LAST YEAR AT tHE AGE OF 16 SHE WOULD OF TURN 17 IN NOVEMBER AFTER SHE GRAduated

Another question, that just popped into my pea sized brain as well, I know my wife has to get her CFO counterfoil/sticker deal to leave the country, does our son need anything similar to that as well? (ie: is there a juniors version?)
yes its just to show visa and passport to CFO and pay 400 pesos to register him leaving the country

Hey everyone...long time off the thread. Stress was bugging me too much. Glad to see a bunch of you have landed. Congrats Tagum...you deserved it finally.

To Dan and Auditt, I'm pretty sure the kids would still need a sticker from CFO (just like irisgirl's), but ofcouse don't need to go through the seminar. I'm not sure tho if it's still needed if the child is already Canadian, coz for sure he/she has Canadian passport.

Wishing that your Visas are on it's way!!
not needed for a child with a Canadian PASSPORT

Yeah, unfortunately the little guy, has a Phil's passport.

Hi Dan,

Isn't it that October 16th was your bring forward date? Any news from CEM/your MP?

I hope you get the Visa before this month ends.

Yes, it was the 16th, which has come and gone, I will be firing off another email to the MP's office Monday. Thursday will be 1 year of dealing with my wife and sons application. (Plus the month or so for sponsorship approval) so the bitching and complaining will have the volumes turned up Thursday.

I know CIC says 14 months right now for approval, but it was at 12 when they accepted my payment. So that is what I will be working off of.

And honestly the one thing that is really pissing me off, is seeing January, February and March 2013 applicants getting their fooking medicals extended and then getting their visas. While we had to do a full redo, and sit here and watch them go. I mean really, WTF??

when she goes to get her stamp from CFO she just needs to present his visa and passport and yes the 400 pesos

I can't blame you Dan, got same thoughts.lol But yeah, we did a full redo of medical and still waiting. As you can see, my timeline is close to yours but I'm just a week ahead. :) Did your ecas change to 'in process' at least? Mine did last Oct 9th. ;) I'm hoping we get it real soon cause I'm about to blow up. :-\
