hi everyone :) :) .. how much money should we bring with us during the flight? can we bring an amount that is just enough for food? :D

You should ready at least Php3,000 for the airport fees then bring at least 100cad/usd just to be safe (though you will likely spend 30usd max for the food while waiting for the connecting flight). If you need to use a trolley you should have dollar coins too. As long as you have your phone and a credit card, those amounts should be more than enough.

Just wishing everyone good luck on their applications

pregnancy is the best proof

Actually I was thinking of the same thing. For the past 3 years, we have been trying everytime I come home to the philippines. I even have records from my OB that I am consulting her about getting pregnant. I also asked for referral here in Canada for OB and now I was reffered to a fertility docotor scheduled on September. Although I only stayed for 1 and 1/2 months, 1 month, and 2 months just this may and June, but no luck yet. Do you think it is okay to send my lab results, prescriptions, and diagnosis as I have Polycystic Ovaries?

The flight from Manila to Vancouver the food is included. You can bring some packaged snacks if you like but no bottled drinks. The domestic flight with Air Canada you should not but anything unless you want to give them all your money for a half a can of coke.

$100 Canadian is more than enough to be safe for any incidentals and taxi fare once you land at your destination.
do not bring more than 9,999 or there will be big trouble

According to CIC, the rules are:

"If you are carrying more than CDN $10,000, tell a Canadian official when you arrive in Canada. If you do not tell an official, you may be fined or put in prison. These funds could be in the form of:

Cash
Securities in bearer form (for example, stocks, bonds, debentures, treasury bills)
Negotiable instruments in bearer form (for example, bankers’ drafts, cheques, travelers’ cheques or money orders)"

If it's under $10K, you don't have to declare it and it's $10K per person.

Don't bring more than 9,999 cash. It will just causes unnecessary extra forms and declarations to fill out.

That medical condition should be added to your medical file. The fact that you are trying to get pregnant does not further your case unless you are paying money for fertility drugs.

If it's such a hassle than 9,999 and below is the way to go! Will have to keep that in mind if and when my time comes. Thanks GoonerClank and xxdieselxx. And Tagum!
