They call him the happy mailman now,,,he always has a smile on his face

LOL....the missus and I are doing great. She takes her written drivers exam tomorrow and then another 2 weeks to do the road test. She is still sending out resumes with no bites yet. Networking is key and getting that established takes time. Summer students fill all the entry level engineering jobs. In a month they go back to school so I'm hoping she will have more interest in her resume then. Until that time she has signed up with Manitoba Start. That may give her another avenue to a network within her field.

....and I'm still delivering all my own mail......but I am smiling...... ;D ;D ;D

I don't know why they give us a UCI number to check our status,,,which never gets changed until the very end,,,,,,why not have it so we can access our GCMS notes from our homes with this #,,,,at least then we could see when add docs and requests are made,,,,,,oh I quess this is to logical,,,,,,,like I said b4 and others did,,,this ordeal is ridiculous and nothing else in my life has resembled this,,,,,,,there is no reason for this to be such an unorganized ordeal ,,,,,if any business tried to do something like this they would end up folding quickly,,,,it is a total fooked up mess

Because that would provide transparency to the process. And one thing we know is that this government despises transparency.

Hi Everyone:

We received a letter stating that my partner has an interview on August 14th. Can anyone tell me what to expect during the interview? Also, I read somewhere that the person who was interviewed received his/her visa on the same day?

Thanks!

cant believe that the visa will be still issued the same day if your app warranted an interview,,,im sure there is people on the tagalog forum who knows what the questions usually are,,,probably mostly about her spouse and how well she knows him/her,,,,,goodluck

I have never seen one issued the same day in all my reading here. Maybe I missed that one but I wouldn't count on it happening. For now just worry about the interview. You may find this link useful for the possible questions... http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/this-is-a-list-of-what-they-ask-in-the-interview-very-important-read-it-t12122.0.html

Interviews I believe are mostly called due to age differences or the brief amount of time and/or contact they have had together. You can actually Google a list of question types they can ask.

Try this one out. It is only a sample but will give you a good idea.

You might want to check in a thread dealing with New Delhi since each VO has different timings. Here is one for most 2013 applicants... http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/new-delhi-2013-applicants-t132103.5415.html
