yes but you don't know how special your kid would be to have Canadian and philipino genes mixed,,,,,the best of all,,,,Chinese Japanese,,,portugese,,French,,,philipino, spaniards,,,,,and so qwapo

No question mixed kids can look pretty amazing but I don't want to be an old dad so I missed my chance.

I need my wife to work if we ever want to move back to the Philippines to retire well....and young. I have a kid now then that is guarantee 20 years hard labour just for 1. To have a kid now would be a purely emotional reason.

Did you get the razor blade treatment

Hello everybody!

It seems a lot of us were getting PPR in the end of May and I'm glad to see that block of orange colored cells in the spread sheet ;)

But I've been having "In Process" status since April 23 without PPR... I was expecting to see DM or something (usually PPR are waived for Japanese applicants, it seems) within a week or two. It's been 7 weeks!! :( And my medical will expire middle of next month... :'(

Anybody else being stuck at "In Process" with no PPR like me??

Welcome to Manila Madness. The Embassy that processes all applications in the Pacific Rim through one under-staffed office.

Since you won't get a PPR you should send an email to manil-immigration@international.gc.ca and inquire. Don't forget to include your full name, date of birth and file #. Mention that other applicants who applied after you did have already been issued visas.
