I'm not so cool... the day after he got phoned by the Embassy I almost had a nervous breakdown.. I couldn't sleep and started to develop weird OCD tics like rainman. I seriously was thinking of getting some herbs for that

But now that I analyzed the spreadsheet and he had his medicals I'm pretty sure he will be here in June.. so I'm just really stoked ;D Yay conjugal!

Are you saying this for all countries or asking? Well if thats the case would it make sense thats for all the canadian visa offices around the globe? So they can finished all delayed apps and start a new course? But then again IM NOT SURE ABOUT THIS! Guys dont thank me yet..

i was asking because? i remember reading in January they wanted to clear up all back log and in one country the actually gave back the persons there application money, so sad that happened, but lets see.

I think that was the FSW list. They declined all applications made prior to 2008 or something like that. There is a class action suit pending for that.

Well... I still commend your admiration then... I think if I were doing that it wouldn't be long before my neighbors found my laptop in their living room... And a hefty bill for the broken windows!

I'm still hoping my wife will be here June as well... Just in time for airline tickets from manila to skyrocket Haha... Maybe the clear up backlog plan is in cahoots with airlines... See... I'm also completely irrational and paranoid.... Maybe I need some of those bc herbs to calm me down too... Haha

I was saddened for nothing lol but i think its a rights for citizens and pr's to sponsor their family so they can't just refuse them like that.

Oh, i see. Ive read in fsw forum they have to finished all the backlogs including family sonsorship by end of may? And oh im january 2013 applicant so its long way to go for me.

If they are trying to clear a backlog they are doing it in true CIC/CEM fashion - by fast-tracking more recent apps and letting older ones lie.

They seriously need some new management in there. Or reduce management bonuses by the number of outstanding apps, with the age of the app determining how much you lose. That would get them moving. Though I guess you would also have to factor in the number of apps declined then successfully appealed to keep them from flatly declining any app older than x-months.

Well after looking at the spread sheet the CEM is not doing what they say they do on their web site... if so why are applications getting a PPR before others that were approved earlier.... lets pull our head out of our AS# the applications are opened and then they look at the medicals... and the time they expire.... you watch this week you are going to see people pass you because their meds are close to expire.... lets all hope not but after looking at the sheet ...looks like that
