The med test was due to something in her childhood, but it was fairly easy to do and we had already done the full medical tests before. After a couple of emails they got it lined up with the file correctly so I think that's all completed now.Iay said:Yea I really hope they didn't lose it, such a hassle!
Well, my husband's PC is more than 3 months old when we submitted it, so technically it is not "valid". He hasn't been back to the country since then tho, so hopefully they would see that on his passport.
Your wife did the medical already tho, right? What is the additional med tests that they wanted? Also, did you submit SG police clearance on your initial app? Or they couldn't find it as well?
Sorry for flooding you lots of Qs. I hope you don't mind
On the plus side they've been responding to my emails within one day so I hope to have an answer by tonight.
For Singapore you actually need to the embassy to request the police clearance as they won't do it for non-nationals without that request. We sent in the request with the embassy paperwork for the Singapore clearance late August, I talked to them since then and it is a pretty quick process and should be sent over to the embassy already, unlike the Lebanon one which took 3 months.
I didn't send the Lebanon clearance until the PPR request in August. When i called the hotline in the spring they said hold off on sending it until it was requested and even though it was past the 3 month mark it was fine as long as it was still valid when the app was initially received. The package had a lot of stuff including her passport so I hope they still have the police clearance and it's just a clerical error.
