WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOUR OVER BY 5 DAYS,,,,,CHANGING YOUR TICKET OR GETTING BACK INTO CANADA

We landed in canada sept 25, 2010... Ive been out since i got my pr card so on sept 25 its gonna be 3 years out of canada... I need to be in canada 2 out of the 5 years so that i can renew my PR card later on... So i think im over by 5 days but im sure i can explain that if they question me later on... What's important now is we are all gonna be together!

Please be advised that your daughter's application has been finalized. The package will be sent to the applicant's mailing address within the coming 1-2 weeks. You may contact the DHL hotline at 632 8798888 if package is not received within the said period.

Hi Irisgirl, I used to be a BSO (Border Services Officer) for the CBSA. Although I havent worked in an airport-port of entry, and have only worked at land border crossings, the rules are the same. if your maple leaf card is expired, you are inadmissible to canada and will be refused entry at the border, all things being equal. Although we have made a few exceptions, it is rare and far in between, and are usually dealt with our higher ups. In my post at the Landsdowne-Alexandria Bay Crossing (Gananoque) we have refused entry to almost everyone in your situation, or at least temprarily detained some for almost a day before letting them in.

I would contact the CEM or the consulate in Cebu and explain your situation.

The sept 18 is fully booked so i cant add my daughter... The earliest possible is the 29th. I did stay in canada for a month after we landed and the expiration on my pr card is still october 15th so i guess i have a few days to spare.

Thats good. The month you stayed here should count and extend your residency period.

My apologies, I forgot to mention residency requirements in my last post. Both residency and PR Card expiry date are factored in for admissability, and enforced just as strictly.

Its the date you landed, the date stamped in the passport.
