Thanks a lot, I was just curious because I want to tell the details to my friend who is a driver here and is coming to Canada with 4 children whose wife is working there as a caregiver.The wife had heard about it from a friend but she doesn't know anything about it also. That's why I am asking from my point of view because like me he can't work a while when he comes to Canada, he will take care of the kids.

I am employed here in the Philippines that's why I am asking if it will be based on my income here or on my husband's income. Even my husband doesn't know anything about that. Anyway, even if we don't need it, every new information adds to our knowledge so it's good to know about these things...

Oh you should pick up a rim of Marlboro,,,only 500pesos there,,,,, they are worth 3,500pesos here,,,,someone will pay you double your price, once you get here ,,,,buy them in the supermarket not the duty free and put them in your bag,,,,don't forget the 1 liter of tanduay done up in the box its only 130 pesos,,,it will cost 1000pesos here,,, BUYING THOSE 2 ITEMS IS LIKE A100 DOLLAR DISCOUNT OFF YOUR AIRLINE TICKET

They will have to process it quickly so your spouse can land before they expire. Or if they delay it they will request that he/she does them again.
