I need your advice regarding our case:

Application filed on april 23, 2012.
Started processing july 23, 2012
Sponsor approval on oct 2, 2012
Ppr on april 18, 2012

My partner had his medical originally done on feb 22, 2012. He underwent medication because of possible TB. He finished that on september 27, 2012. They received the medical results in February 2013. Now they have requested for another medical as his medical expired. Shouldn't the medical be september 2012? Anyway, he went to IOM makati which is different from the DMP he went to before. That DMP is not on the list anymore. The result is the same thing. He has possible TB. He is asked to do sputum and culture test again and might undergo another medication. This will take 2-10 months! I dont think that is right. What should we do? Who might help us? I cant deal with more delays.

Were they aware that you already did the treatment? I have no idea how to help you, but good luck! Maybe get your MP involved.

Yes they were aware. He brought all the documents from the different DMP and pulmonologist. But they didnt want to look at them. He was told that that is their process. I will contact my MP tomorrow. Thanks Steph.

Ask on the Tagalog thread - I think there's some people who are qualified doctors and nurses, and they will know more about the procedure for TB treatment.

no i dont think so, the doctors are not benefiting from that scenario

In Manila they don't extend the medicals for 6 months. They seem to always ask for another Chest Xray which makes us wonder if they are actively screening for TB.

Actually they will have the pig near Tagum.. he's from the country. 20 mins down a dirt road, right past Carmen She will know the place! yeah she can go!

First you need to find out how they administered the test for TB. If they did a skin test they produce a lot of false positives so the sputum test is the best way along with an x-ray. Does your partner experience any of the symptoms for TB?

Get a copy of the doctor's report from September that indicates the medicine has worked and your partner is clear of TB.
