I received my COPR! :D

Here is my timeline at VO:
Aug 6: Application received at Manila
Nov 6: AOR from Manila
Nov 8: COPR issued
Nov 14 (between 12 and 14): eCAS changed to DM
Nov 23: DHL was sent out
Nov 28: Attempted dlivery by DHL
Nov 29: Phone call from DHL for buzz #
Nov 30: COPR delivered by DHL!
Nov 30: Driving to the boarder to land in a few hours :)

Exactly 6 months from the day I sent the application package. A month to my birthday. I can renew my driver's license with the new status!

PS. AOR said the document will be sent via collect courier but it was delivered FOC ;)

Awesome! That's fabulous news AnaMaria. We're close behind but don't know how much i.e. we're 'In Process' which is great but still no PPR. No sour grapes here though, happy your journey (with CIC) has come to completion. Well . . . maybe until next step - Citizenship in a few years. :)

Thats excellent news. I have heard of people getting their visa in 6 months but always thought it was just talk. Congratulations.

Ok, it's almost Monday lunch time in Manila . . . here's to a hefty batch of outgoing PPR's ! ! !

Pretty quiet here. Either everyone has now got their PR but me or everyone is still waiting.

Still waiting over here!

I apologize for duplicate post but anyway . . .

HEY ! We got PPR today too - the letter is only requiring "original" and "Appendix B". So now I know why I've seen this question many times. . . they clearly DO NOT state the NUMBER of pictures that they require. That's all we need to know now . . . someone with past experience dealing with CEM please?

Really interesting that this went to the Applicant ONLY, considering we have an "Authorized Representative" - ME!

How did the PPR come? Real mail or Email? They requested more photos? We had a terrible time getting photos in the Philippines to match their specifications. Every time we got handed our photo in the wrong size they told us "maybe it's ok"
Congrats to the two of you!

Im not sure of the number of pictures they wanted but Ive read in the checklist that we should submit 9 copies, so I did submit 9 copies together with my application.

That's correct. 9 identical photos.

Thanks all. It came by email.

Yes, we submitted nine photos with our original application, this seemed to be a request for "new" photos. My wife suggested she include a note saying photos have already been submitted, I said "let's not". The Appendix B on CIC's website says 2 copies but that Appendix had other minor differences so I took it lightly. I've heard 6, 10, now 9, and the photographer I take it from a brief conversation with my wife seemed to know what he was doing, said 8.

Would have been easier just to put the required number on the Appendix B (Manila version), and/or in the letter.

Whatever you do, don't listen to the photographers! I would send the highest number you think you might need, that way your bases are covered. In our original app we sent 9.

Oh I hear you there, but I was not/am not present there yet, to put forth an 'at the moment' opinion. Anyway, 8 "new" ones have been sent in (over and above the original 9). And NOW (again to be taken lightly) I see a PPR from the Seattle VO was sent to someone requesting TWO photos. Well, at least that VO is consistent with the CIC web-site . . .

I think VO specific manual specified the number of photo. Manila specific manual stated 9 identical photos.
