I checked a couple of the longest timelines on the Manila spreadsheet and the common theme for the prolonged wait is there's a dependant on the application and/or the relationship started online.

I have the same case my application is already 14 months now and my passport has already been with cem for almost 5months now.were under conjugal sponsorship and our MP told us that our application should be done this January 2015.so its like theres already a decision or its already finished this January.so hopefully we will receive goodnews. its so hard to wait this long.Our Mp said that we already passed the genuiness of our rel and were already on background checking by the way were same sex so maybe that's why the processing is too long.goodluck to all of us still waiting.

My MP got the same information from CEM. They are convinced the relationship is genuine and they are on the background checks now. I wonder what is taking so long since my wife never went out of the country.
I guess they cant really issue any more visas before next year, quota thing.

me too I haven't been to other countries, Our mp said that the immigration is still checkin on something shes not specific on that and she doesn't wanna provide more info but she told us that our application is good.we already purchase gcms and we will receive it this dec 11 I think..my medical has already been expired also and they didn't request for remedical yet.soo frustrating.our ecas is still showing app received but our MP said its already in process and she advised us that ecas is not updated.
