BECAUSE OF THIS FORUM (ABOVE).
OUR EELATIONSHIP IS GENUINE. IM JUST BEING PARANOID. I NEED TO TRUST MY LAWYER. HE KEEP ON REMINDING ME THAT DONT COMPARE YOUR CASE TO OTHERS, EACH COUPLE IS UNIQUE . FROM NOW ON, I WILL NEVER ENTERTAIN NEGATIV VIBES. ONE OF MY INSPIRATIONS AND BOOSTING MY VIBES IS THE GUY WHO MADE THI FORUM AND THE OTHER COUPLES WHO WENT WELL WITH THEIR APPLICATION.
Ouch, Sorry for making you feel paranoid about my thread. Yours is different and besides you have a lawyer at the onset of your application maybe they can do a better job than some of the conjugal applicants that I know who also got the same letter that I did. We were 3 conjugal partnership applicants who are waiting that I know of from 2011 and we all got almost the same letter. Maybe it is their new protocol. I got discouraged too 4 days ago after reading a thread from someone who applied conjugal partnership from the Philippines m-f same as mine her name is mamipapi they got denied, they appealed they still got denied I was crying and crying and like you I really got paranoid that me anf my hubby ended up having an argument because I was being miserable and being a total B*tch to him. Then he said that I was really being negative and that my negativity it putting negative vibes on our app. Then I realized that right now we still got a shot to this and were gonna give them our all. So, don't be negative, everything is gonna be alright. Just pray, trust in God and have faith. ;) :)

Hey guys, I'm glad to have found this thread for I am very confused on how my same sex partner can sponsor me. We are in an f to f relationship.

Here's our case: She was sponsored by her PR mom in Regina, Sk last June2010, she got approved as provincial nominee last August2011 and finally immigrated last July2012. We got together last April2011 and lived together until she went to Canda, and since we do not know about the common law partnership, I wasn't included in her application, and even if we do know she still can't include me because her mom doesn't approve of our kind of relationship and she might withdraw the sponsorship.

Eto yung questions ko:
1. Puwede pa ba akong ma sponsor, and how?
2. Puwede din ba niya akong invite as tourist and we get married there, at kung ma deny mag apply as conjugal. Do we need to state the relationship, bka kc ma deny at isipin ng VO na I won't be coming back to the Philippines.
3. Para di ma question about misrepresentation kc we lived together and I wasn't included in the application, can we put sa application na less than a year ung relationship, na we got together a few months before she left and maintain/continue the relationship til the time that she's financially settled in Canada and may be able to sponsor me.

All we want is to be together and all your inputs on how we can do this will be much appreciated.

Hi everyone! I am newly registered in this forum although I have been lurking around for quite a while. I have a situation and I am hoping that you guys can help me figure things out. This is with regard to my Canadian PR girlfriend sponsoring me as a conjugal partner. We have been together for 11 years and 6 months now. We are in a same sex relationship and we have an age gap of 10 years. We are from the Philippines. We have not lived together and we have managed to see each other quite a few times in those 11 years. We have exchanged a lot of letters, emails, phone calls. We have few pictures together and we have already introduced each other to our relatives. We have money remittances but we do not have any joint bank accounts, joint ownership of durable goods, etc. She recently got her PR, a little less than a year. Do we have a shot? Thank you very much for all your opinions.

CAN YOU SEND THE LINK?

I DONT THINK SO .

You may not be eligible to be a sponsor if you:

failed to provide financial support you agreed to when you signed a sponsorship agreement to sponsor another relative in the past
defaulted on a court-ordered support order, such as alimony or child support
receive government financial assistance for reasons other than a disability
were convicted of an offence of a sexual nature, a violent criminal offence, an offence against a relative that results in bodily harm or an attempt or threat to commit any such offences—depending on circumstances such as the nature of the offence, how long ago it occurred and whether a pardon was issued (See Sponsorship Bar for Violent Crime below)
were previously sponsored as a spouse, common-law or conjugal partner and became a permanent resident of Canada less than 5 years ago (See Five-year Sponsorship Bar for persons who were sponsored to come to Canada as a spouse or partner below)
defaulted on an immigration loan—late or missed payments
are in prison or
have declared bankruptcy and have not been released from it yet.

I think this applies to PR who were previously sponsored as a spouse, common law or conjugal. My girlfriend worked as caregiver and was granted PR through this path. She was not a previously sponsored spouse, common law or conjugal partner. Thanks and please enlighten us on this.

Vinta, should i try first to get a trv and marry my gf there in Canada? If asked by a VO for my reason to visit, can I say that I want to visit my girlfriend? Of course with the intention to marry her. Thanks.
