How is IRCC going to process the pending 250k+ asylum seekers ones they are approved with only 56000 PR spots for the next 3 years, most of whom are probably going to be accepted, and there are already 80000 ppl waiting, excluding dependents? How are they going to handle family reunification?

That is valid question for the one who planned these target numbers for refugee and H and C programs. The one who planned these numbers is certainly disconnected from reality. I just hope the new immigration minister revise theses numbers soon.

Exactly, My attempted analysis of the immigration system, the backlog, annual quotas, and processing times only leads to confusion and despair.
The numbers simply don't make sense, and no expert can clearly explain how it all works.

The hardest part is having no timeline to give my young children. I can't even offer them hope for when we might be reunited.

They paint all asylum seekers with one brush. They fail to realize that many are likely better than the so called economic migrants. I am sure they will find a way to fix all of this.
