Ok so my wife works for this company that broadcasts/airs real casino games to Asia/Europe. In other words it is an online casino with real dealers dealing cards in front of live cameras. It is perfectly legal, and it is a very big company in Toronto that has been audited and certified many times. I said that to kill the posts like "casinos are illegal in ontario". Technically it is not a casino but here comes the interesting part:
She is a shift supervisor in this company, she supervises 24 dealers and IT staff and her duties are VERY CLOSE to 6313 - dealers supervisor, casino
The only question that is killing me is can there be any possible problems over the fact that this is an online casino not a real one, they do not deal with money etc.
She gets paid by the Canadian employer and she has all the T4's and stuff like that.
Also her official position title is "Supervisor". Do they pay attention to the titles? She could probably ask the owner to change her title for the purposes of CEC application, but even slight changes like this make me uncomfortable, since I don't want her to get refused due to "misrepresentation".
Also in case of refusal can she apply for a study permit afterwards? What are the chances of her getting it in case of CEC refusal?
Thank you very much!
