Mailing the application

Guys...

Need very urgent help..


I have sent my application...its in Canada, but I am getting a call from the courier company to give them the name and telephone number.

What to do??

Actually yesterday the address for FSW1 (via courier) was

Citizenship & Immigration Canada
Federal Skilled Worker
Centralized Intake Office
Attn.: SW1 - NOC # _ _ _ _ PO BOX 7500 Sydney, NS
B1P 0A9

But today CIC changed the address to

Citizenship & Immigration Canada
Federal Skilled Worker
Centralized Intake Office
Attn.: SW1 - NOC # _ _ _ _ 196 George Street Sydney, NS
B1P 1J3
Canada

So I mailed the courier company...and they are asking the contact person and number for the destination

So I mailed the courier company...and they are asking the contact person and number for the destination

The Courier address was never the first one you are indicating. The first one is the regular mail address. The second one was & is the correct mailing address for Courier.
Just convey the Courier Company the 2nd address stating them to deliver it at this address. Tell them its a Govt. Organization & their is no particular person who will receive the package.

I agree in the updated CIO guidelines document the second one is the courier address...but if u have the file that was there till yesterday...it had the first address... I can send you both the files if you want....

I tried telling the courier company....they said they need a contact number atleast. Do you think giving the call-center number would be fine??

Dear Inexperienced,

You are absolutely right!
I know you must have downloaded the EG7000 (Instruction Guide in PDF). It says the address that u mentioned earlier. Unfortunately for you, the address was changed on the website around 30th July itself (that u dint come to know)

Anyways, send the new address to the courier company, and the number is 1-888-242-2100

PO Box No. 7500 was never a Courier address. It cannot be....
Tell them that telephone numbers are not available. At best if they still insist, then give the call center number. At least the Courier Co. will be satisfied that way!!
But do it fast.

I did just give them the call-center numbers as suggested by canada121. And I completely aggree yukon PO box cannot be there. But as Canada121 mentioned the EG7000 (Instruction Guide in PDF) that I downloaded on 2 August 2010 had that address. CIC changed the address yestrday.

Canada121...I am 100% they changed it yesterday...cause 3rd august I had downloaded the same file which had the PO box address.

Dear Inexperienced,

I sent my file on 30th July. And I was carrying the same address to the courier office.
Luckily the courier guy frowned at the Post Box no. & searched the website.

Thank GOD he did so, coz the correct address was there!!!!!
Anyways, I am happy that I could help you as we both are on the same boat

Yup of course it helped...gave the number to them...

Actually my application is in NS already...so in the morning they may or may not change the address...

Praying hard..1) application reaches the destination and 2) it gets accepted.
