Once I land in Canada, and I am planning to stay a month and go back to my country of origin to fulfill my work contract and come back in six month, can the pr card be mailed to my friend's residential address?

It will be delivered to the address u have stated. And you will be needing it to re entrr canada

You can have it mailed to your friend's address but there's no guarantee that it will arrive in the month that you are staying there.

If you don't receive it in time you can ask your friend to mail it to you (not that safe or secure though). The alternative is to apply for a PR Travel document in your home country for when you travel back to Canada, then you can pick up your PR card.

All visas (visitor, study or work) are immediately cancelled/voided as soon as you land as a PR.
