Buy Avery labels or print on paper and cut into labels. If it asks you to provide labels in your native language, I would simply follow the instructions ::)

You can buy Avery Mailing Labels at Staples or any other office supplier. I simply printed on white paper and cut
it into business card sized labels. :)

If you are in Canada, labels are needed only in English / French. Here's what the checklist says:

one in English or French and
one in official language of your country of residence.

I am in Canada, so I have to send 2 self addressed labels with Canadian address in English or
1 Canadian address and 1 home country address in native language ??

Both labels with Canadian address in English if you want to be contacted on that address by CIC (if they contact by mail at all)

Really? You didn't think they should be adhesive labels?

At any rate, this is a strange checklist item as I'd imagine CIC is competent at printing address labels.

It speeds the process, also cuts costs down, and if it doesn't reach you it is your fault not theirs ;D

Adhesive labels are much better. I bought a pack and have been using those for other mailing needs I have been having ever since (still a bunch to go :) )

Never expected my application to be returned :) So no, I didn't bother buying labels or paying money for anything.
