Xpresspost is considered Canadapost. There have been some people on the forum that say it's courier but they have no idea what they are talking about. I've sent Xpresspost to the Canadapost address on PR application and also on Passport submission and I got them accepted and the passport was returned in 2 days.

"No idea what they're talking about"? How exactly is Xpresspost not a courier service?

Of course the package is still going to get there, regardless of which address you use.

Most likely they prefer couriers to come to the premises so that someone can sign for it.

Because it's Canada post and not another company. It clearly states that in the PPR that I got and I've proven a person that tried to get vulgar with me wrong already. Even CIC when mailing it back to me stuck labels on the from and to and they used the Canadapost address in the From label. Courier means third parties like Fedex, Ups, etc. You can send it via courier, but the return has to be xpresspost, so might as well send it xpresspost both ways. Also I was instructed by my lawyers office to send it via xpresspost to the Canadapost address and my lawyers office is the one that owns this site fyi.

There are so many who have already applied. If you have used regular mail address
Have u used Canada post xpress service. Also, do I need to do something for return post payment apart from creating 2 labels.

I got my passport back from CIC today, stamped and with CoPR. I sent Xpresspost to the "Canada Post" PO box address. I got it back within 6 days (including weekend).

If it walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, it's a duck. And Xpresspost is a courier service.

It doesn't really matter - whether you send it to the post office box or the street address, whichever method you choose, it will get there.

If it isn't a duck, then it's not a duck.
