Mailing application from Germany

Just a quick question for those of you that have mailed an application from Germany before.
There are two different addresses for doing that, one is a PO Box and the other one is a normal address. It says that if ones uses a courier to send the package, the PO Box address should not be used.
What is the definition of a courier? In Germany, most packages are sent out with DHL. Every time I sent a package to Canada from here, I had a DHL tracking number, and I sent it from the German post office.

Which address should I use? The PO Box or the normal one?

DHL,FEDEX are termed as Courier Services.You can use DHL to send your package and you can use any address.I did courier my application package thru FEDEX from India and send on the normal address even though it says dont send there thru courier.I did not knew this when I was sending but it did not make any difference to my application....Good luck

We used DHL Express International to send the application. Arrived CIC-M within 2 days.

If you send it as a standard DHL Paket it may take weeks to arrive.

I would recommend DHL Express International and sending it to the courier address. That's what we did.

Thank you so much! Does the DHL Express international have their own envelops? I remember I sent something express before and they made me put my letter in a weird envelope.

They will put your package into a DHL express envelope. But that is more or less just a plastic bag which is not a good way of sending documents. I recommend that you still put your application in a real document envelope which than gets put into the DHL express bag. That is how we sent our application.
