Mail to CIC for Marital Status Change

Friends,

I have mailed to CIC informing about my status change about a week ago.I haven't heard back from them as CIC will send the checklist to provide documents related to my spouse.

My application is in process with CIC since 12th June 2014 and I want to add my spouse in my file.

Please suggest if there is any alternate way to reach CIC or inform them about the same.

Have you sent it to the correct email address ? Coz usually marital status change email responses are received within a week (at least in my case it did).

I have sent email to both in month of April about my marital status, last week I received reply from CIO Sydney saying that your file is no longer with CIO sydney so cannot comment on it, please email your inquiries to cio Ottawa. Well I have already sent email to Ottawa too in April but so far no any response from them.
