So today is the day we were planning on sending off our pr and noticed that my husband (the applicant) has his residential address for his home in the US, but on the rest of our app we put he lives here in Canada which is his true residence technically. So i was wondering if our application will be rejected because his residential addresses conflict on the rest of the app and his work permit? Is there a way to fix it without having to re-validate the document; considering we can't validate anything since it's past his visitors time.

It's all one big mess and we're both very worried that our application will just get refused...we can't afford this mistake. If there is a simple fix like putting a line across the mistake and adding a sticky note stating we missed this...i dont know at this point. Any sort of advice or help would be helpfull.

Have you already submitted your application? If so, then you can do the following:

When should I contact CIC?
You must notify CIC of any changes to your application. Examples of changes include:
• Changes in your personal circumstances, such as birth or adoption of a child, a marriage or a divorce
• Change of contact information (e-mail, mailing address, telephone number)
• Appointment or change of immigration representative or designated individual
• Decision to withdraw your application

To notify CIC of changes to your application you may contact this office at the address identified below. You may also contact the Call Centre, toll-free, at 1-888-242-2100. Changes to your address may be made through our online service at http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/change-address.asp.

I got these information when we got the Acknowledge of Receipt with our application number. Just so you know, it is for Mississauga Office.

I hope this helps! :)

We haven't sent it yet, we're just putting our stuff together and sending it off today. We included a sticky note and put a line in the incorrect info and stated that we just caught this mistake and stated the correct info and both initialled and dated it. Would that be ok or should we still call?

Yes you can do a simple fix now because you have not submitted it yet so just put a line through it on the paper app. and make a note it was done in error and state the correct address. I had to do a few fixes by hand (not address but other items) on my husbands PR app. after I validated and printed as well. Try to write on the page itself as well as the post-it in case the post-it note gets separated and make sure that you have a photocopy of the corrected page with the post-it note not covering where you made the correction. This should be perfectly fine, there was no problem at all with our application. As long as it is clear to IRCC. You will be good. Exhale;) we all know how stressful it can be. The call will not be needed. Make sure you get a signed proof of delivery though whether you send by post or courier.

You are most welcome. In the immigration process relief is usually much needed. ;) You are blessed that you can both be together for the waiting game. Typically the US/Canadian couples have the least painful process so that is on your side as well. Best wishes.
