Made a mistake in Imm1297 for country of birth

Hello everyone.

So, I applied for a study permit online and submitted alread . But, now after I got the biometrics instruction, my country of birth is listed as United States of America. It should have been Bangladesh. The place of birth is fine -listed as Dhaka-, but the country of birth is what's wrong? I completed the web form for inquiry but it will take a long time for them to respond to fix it, or so I have read . I just want to know if I still should go do the biometrics soon before their response? And if the mistake on the application can be fixed?

They dont usually respond to webform, when you sent your webform I hope you attached a new form indicating the correct country of birth. Biometric, you can let them know you sent the web form and maybe they can change from their side like they did on mine. I made a mistake on my middle name, I sent the webform and also during biometric they changed on their system on my behalf.

Ahh. Thank you for your response. Yeah, I attached proof to show my correct place of birth. I will go and take the Biometrics and inform them, and hopefully they could fix it. Is there any other way to reach them? I thought they could respond within 20 days and get back to me with a solution

I used Adobe acrobat reader. It worked fine for me. But you could use Pdfelement as well. It should work there

There is no any other way of communication. If you sent the application with the correct country of birth, they will update it.
