M.Sc Computer Science for Fall 2015 (Help needed..)

I am currently pursuing Btech from ITM University gurgaon in Comp Sc.
Currently I have a Cgpa of 6.75 upto 6th sem. No backlogs.
10th-78%
12th-82%
I still have an year to go.

Can anyone suggest me any good colleges which expertise in Msc in Computer sciences. And which would suit my profile.
And how early should i start off with the process?
I would be giving IELTS in some time.
And should I give GRE?

I dont knw abt the status or reputation of ur college , as the gpa changes from college to college and each canadian uni have its own method of gpa calculation .

i think if u wnt to go for msc then lukng at ur profile u can go to( u can search for more unis frm google)

But keep one thing in mind , for msc which is thesis based degree ... u need supervisor which will accept u and i think it is quite difficult as u dnt have a very high profile and also fresher..

my advice would b that u should go for M.eng which is course based and dnt need any supervisor

also try to get 7 bands in ielts

try to improve ur percentage in last year

about gre , it is nt mandatory bt will b beneficial if u get good marks in it

Rest is on GOD

1. Thank you so much for this. And my gpa would be equivalent to about 60% which is First Class in my college.
2. And, What's the difference between M.Engg and M.Sc?
3. I have started with Research Papers and would hopefully have some of them published.
4. Do individual Counselling agencies help us to interact with the faculty of respective colleges?
5. Most Importantly, My colleges end in june, but deadlines of respective universities for FALL is in January. So, I should submit my grades uptil 7th semester?

First of all our gpa and the method of gpa calculation of Canadian unis is different.... they score out of 4 rather than 100 .
and i dnt think our first class matters anything to them . they will ask for ur all dmcs and then convert ur percentage into their gpa by taking each subject into account..

i asked u to improve ur percentage , because normally they pay more weightage to last 2 years of under graduation

M.eng - it is course based , u just need to pay the fee and pass about 10 subjects (along with project if u choose)...normally do nt need any supervisor
Masc - u have u study about 6 subjects, bt need to provide thesis and also nd supervisor if u want to get the admission..

if ur research papers got published then it can help u , bt still ur academics are little weak..

no i dont think that these agencies have anything to do with the unis , normally they only have attachments with the colleges , u have to search for the faculty of the desired area of interest from the uni site and then send them e-mail providing information about ur academics and other achievements etc etc

I think most the the unis will as for ur complete result before issuing u an offer ltr.. so i think u need to wait for comlpete result .. then u can apply.... bt u can search from the uni site if it allows
