Have you submitted your passport, I visited VFS yesterday, its only 15 minute process but photo specs are changed.

I am also planning what to take and which stuffs to sell here

do let me know if you get any information.

This means you got your passport stamped?

I'm still in Karachi-Pakistan on vacation. Going back to Riyadh-Saudi Arabia beginning of next week and will submit our passports at the earliest. But I guess it takes few days to get the passports back.

Hi everyone

Urgent assistance is required please..

Today I got an email by LVO to fill and submit my and my family details by email. They sent me a format In which for mentioning the name ther are two columns one is for surname and the other is for first name (Both should be as per passport).

The problem is in my passport my name is mentioned in the given names only. No surname and first name.

LVO is requesting me to fill the names as per passport. Kindly assist me. I shall be thankful to supporters.

We do not have surname and in the passport it is written as "P". What to do please.

Write exactly what you is mentioned in your Passport and what you have written in the Forms while submitting your PR Application to CIC.

Forms include : IMM0008ENU_2D 1 Generic Application Form for Canada and Schedule A Form.

Hi all

2 days ago i sent email to LVO asking what is tge status of my file. Today i got reply from EXP and my file still in background check.

Any one had the same? Is RIH sitll my VO or changes ?

Yes it seems your PA has changed. I hope EXP is as good as RIH. All the best

Hello People,

I would like some information about sending goods to Canada (Vancouver BC). I'm residing in Riyadh and will be sending my goods but have no idea which agency or Cargo service to find and choose. I've also heard that people share half container but I may not have that much of stuff to accommodate half container.
Also how much I can carry with myself.

Can you please help me with such information?

Yes we all plan like that. It's a high time to do this planning and estimates your calculation.

First thing you need to do is:

1. Make a list of items you are taking to Canada.
2. Write the value of that item against it.
3. Calculate the transferring cost of the items to CA.
4. Check if the items you are taking to CA are available in CA or not. If they are available then measure the cost. You need to be very precise in calculations.
5. If you can buy the items in CA with lower cost that is preferred. If not then take the items with you.

Yes it is a 15 minutes process. Photo Specifications are changed mentioned in PPR Email.

My VO is also change from RIH to EXP ... So Yes ur VO is change now and i have no idea abt his/her work style.

RIH was my VO but in reply of my email came to know that EXP is now my new VO.

Thanks a lot vedette! I have submitted the updated information chart form and got the confirmation from LVO that they noted my details in their system.

My ecas 5th line updated and it is amazing as follows:

"We sent you correspondence on 18, Feb 2016. If you have not yet provided the information on the requested documents, please do as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required."

My visa officer changed from RFI to RIH. My timeline is as below :
App received: 3rd November, 2014
PER: 29th January, 2015.

As per GCMS NOTES 1st due date was 15th september, 2015 and 2nd due date was 31st december, 2015 but no update yet. Received email reply on 18th February, 2016 from visa officer RIH instead of RFI, that your is in queue for review by an immigration officer. Anyone can guide about "RIH" visa officer because RFI does nothing on my application till end of december.

Any reply will be appreciated. .....

RIH is better than most of the VOs its good sign atleast ur file is transfer to other VOs plus alot of applicant files are shifted from RFI to other vos ... hope for speedy process ahead
