Got 60 pages gcms today, same as previous in May 2013, only they changed s.15(1) to s.21 nothing else and due date is 31-10-2013, eligibility passed, nothing else.

salam all
we have reached Toronto on the November 1st 2013.
all in it was a good landing experience and all the process were smooth. though it took a while coming out of the immigration process. first u have to go the CBSA counter which stamp the entry in Canada on ur passport. from there we were directed to another room where after filling a couple of forms we were given SIN number though the card will come in 4 to six weeks. but as we have the number we open bank account and get mobile sim and rest. then we were directed to the OHIP counter where the details were taken for the health card. it will take 3 months. lastly we has to go to the customs counter to give them the list of accompanying goods and goods to follow.
weather is cold but pleasant. overcast all the time. everything appear to b neat and organized.

Hi,
It's almost 3 months since we came in Calgary, it's nice and we have very much settled, the government plus the NGOs they help a lot in settling, my hubby got job as a business analyst, thou it happened after 2 months still we are lucky that he did.

Do we miss Pakistan? Yeah we do but that is just our family that we miss not the system, I know we don't have a luxurious lifestyle as in Pakistan but there is a strange mental peace and this is what matters yo us.

and today i see this msg in my ECAS status!!!

100 % sure rejected, i will not lie to myself yes its rejected!! my last update was on june 19, 2013 , i updated some education papers..
my agent didn't contact me yet for any letter from chc..

in immigration i gave everything, time,stress,money at the end what i got NOTHING!!!

so good to hear that you landed smoothly, and unlike many others, for you SIN and OHIP is done at the airport itself, thats great. Can you please tell the day and time when you arrived at the airport ! If you are with kids, did you carry the immunization record for them ! Do they ask for any specific documents / information while filling the OIHP ! Are you staying with you relatives or at some rental place ! in my case the didnt ask for any documents other then the landing papers and passports. i am sure this is the standard procedure. they will ask u for the list of accompanying goods and goods to follow but they will not bother checking it or making queries about it. SIN and OHIP at the airport again seem to b a standard procedure and definitely saves time and effort. but if someone is coming to pick u up from airport tell them it will take a couple of hours after landing to come out due to these procedures. m staying with relatives. thanx n wish u same good luck!

it was a long and tedious wait for u. and it didnt end well. i am so sorry. but i hope n pray tht u r blessed with something far better.

in my case the didnt ask for any documents other then the landing papers and passports. i am sure this is the standard procedure. they will ask u for the list of accompanying goods and goods to follow but they will not bother checking it or making queries about it. ovais how long did it take you to complete all the formalities at the airport. I guess you landed there other than week holidays cuz I read someone telling here that there is only one Service canada counter and that remains closed on week holidays. OHIP at airport, it's real info.
