Hi everybody.
It's been long time since i haven't visited the forum since we almost drop our application and don't peruse it anymore.
By the way there are good progress i saw in Mr. E list and really please accept my hearty congratulations. I hope all of you get your visas as soon as possible.
I think i am the first in the list who haven't received the ppr.
What would be the reason for this? Any idea why till now they didn't issue us ppr?
In the last GCSM they mentioned due date december 12, i believe we are talking 1 year from now since they never respect the due dates, specially with the recent strike; thanks god it's over now.
Hi aba2011.
I know its difficult, but the best strategy is to not lose heart and continue patiently with your life as your application makes it through the bureaucracy.
There are no hard and fast rules regarding processing times. Some cases run into trouble due to an inconsistency in the background checks, or delays in due diligence perfomred by third party contractors.
When I applied on July 1st 2011, I was one of the first amongst MI-3 applicants to receive my PER. People who applied several months after me have now settled in Canada.
I was also quite worried about Passport requests, but I figured there is little I can do besides waiting.
You have waited a long time for PPR. In all probability, you should hear something soon. Just hang in there.
Good Luck!
