Messi show on sunday indeed. Fabregas is starting to look like the player Barca paid so much for.

Only depressing news from LVO. I sent them a message at the beginning of this month, and they said the final review could take 3-4 months. And even that was not confirmed.


When are you landing?

Landing next month on 23rd September at Toronto. 10 days there and then flying back. Permanently settling in August 2014.

As you know LVO have sent you their standard response in order to deter emails clogging up their system. You may find good news quicker than expected but i do understand the frustration. At least you know it's a matter of when and not if. Hope you hear something soon.

Agree re Fabregas. His form dipped last season so he needs to produce the goods this year. My own beloved Celtic are playing their final qualifying round for the Champs League group stage. Game is in Kazakhstan and an 8 hour flight and logistical nightmare with visas etc. Absolute joke calling this European football. It's as quick for Celtic to fly to New York as it is for this game! Ah well as long as we win! 8)

I am not sure if at this point there is any possibility of a rejection.

Once medicals are submitted, and they prove that the applicant (and their family) is healthy, is there a chance of being rejected prior to getting the passport requests?

At this point, I just wish they would give me a response - a yes or a no. After more than two years of waiting, the uncertainty (and its effects on some key career and life decisions) is getting unbearable.
