PAFSO members are still on strike

"To date, members who have not been identified as essential and who are currently working in the immigration section have withdrawn services in Manila, Beijing, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Delhi, Chandigarh,
London, Moscow, and Mexico City. While
this action does not mean that the entire office is closed,
it does mean a significant increase in processing times. You can find information on processing times at the Citizenship and Immigration Canada website at: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/
Regrettably, we are unable to answer case specific inquiries. You can however learn how to lodge an inquiry at: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/my_application/status.asp Or if you have an immigration application in progress in Canada you may contact the CIC Call centre at 1-888-242-2100 or by e-mail at: question @ cic.gc.ca
Foreign Service officers who do immigration work take great pride in their work and want nothing more than to come to a reasonable settlement with their employer. You can help to encourage the Government of Canada to return to the bargaining table by speaking to your members of parliament and elected officials. We suggest you send your concerns to the Minister of Citizenship and Immigration, Jason Kenney. He can be contacted at Jason.kenney @ parl.gc.ca or you can send him a note on Twitter at @ kenneyjason."
