Dear all,
I am really worried and kindly request all of you especially all my seniors to provide me some suggestions regarding my processing. My file was received by CIC on 16 th September 2011, I have submitted all the required documents. Since I got married after submitting my application, I sent all the documents on Jan 2012. As mentioned on the "processing time" schedule, it should not take more than 21 month for the decision, but it has crossed more than the mentioned time.
I kindly request you all to help me .... :( :( >: :(
Thanks ...
send enquiry to visa officer, i hope ur BGC in process, when did u submitted updated docs?

Dear Friends,

There is an update from side.
By the grace of God I have received PPR-2 request yesterday night.

Regards
Fantastic news Zee. Very happy for you! :D

Anybody got an update on the strike by employees of LVO/CIC.? It's not clear who is on strike when i research it and whether it includes LVO case workers. I ask this as i am still waiting on COPR and it's been a month now. Can't book any flights in September until i have landing documentation.

Thanks in advance and hope those waiting on MR receive good news soon. ;)

I've seen a news in a link given in a thread, it was nowhere mentioned about LVO is on strike but others are like Seol and some others.

Regards.

They say it take 4-6 weeks to process COPR & visa stamping. I think you will hear from them in a couple of weeks

Hello farney bhoy,
I've contacted my Canadian consultant who has, unfortunately, confirmed that all PAFSO members worldwide are on strike now including CHC, London. However, he said it wont take much longer and the government should sort things out soon. He's also expecting 30 to 45 days delay in normal processing time frames.
In addition to the above I've read the updated article about this topic in Radio Canada International website which , in some way, matches what my consultant has concluded. http://www.rcinet.ca/en/2013/06/07/strike-by-canadian-diplomats-spreads-worldwide/
Best wishes,
P.S.
Officers being on strike means; work-to-rule tactics, no overtime, not answering e-mails after 5PM, leaving cell phones at work.
At least they are still working but on minimal basis.

Best wishes,
Dear Friends,
As per CIC official web site this strike should not affect permanent resident applications
As mentioned ((Posted processing times for both temporary and permanent resident visa applications do not take into account work stoppages.)))
Please check the link below

GOOD LUCK FOR ALL

Dear Archit,
Of course it will affect, the above statement simply indicates that the posted processing times exclude work stoppages due to strikes.
Best wishes,

I do not agree there is a strike at London Visa office a few days ago our forum member Zeenat Imran got PPRI request from LVO........

I had emailed almost 3 time to my visa officer in this week and all the time she replied me within one day,, the latest reply i got yesterday so don't think they are on strike. she sent me one email on wednesday confirming that she got my documents and need some further. again she replied me on thursday and again on friday. so she was relying me almost every single day.
